Overall a lovely stay. The boathouse is perfectly located. Fun to have the waterfront beach area with kayaks and sups. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. We had a bit of a rainy time this week, but the covered patio was perfect to enjoy the Sound views. Thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to BDA after honeymooning here thirty years ago.

Great location with a beautiful view!

The cottage has great views from the kitchen, living room and terrace. We saw a variety of birds, fish and turtles. The bus stops are just steps away from the cottage and if you are comfortable enough walking on the roads it is just a short distance to Flatts Village and good restaurants. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs and provided excellent information about the things to do on the island.

Not only is Bermuda beautiful- staying at the Boathouse wonderful! Great beach, dock- the views- awesome. could not have been closer to bus stops… both ways! Comfortable wonderful week at the Boathouse!

Boathouse Bermuda Vacation

Great stay for couple overlooking Harrington Sound. Snorkled right out of the back yard with a great variety of fish, rays, and a turtle. Location allows quick access to zoo/aquarium, smith beach, turner point golf, and some very good restaurants. Great place with great view for a quiet vacation for two.

Fabulous Stay in Bermuda

This cottage was amazing. It was clean and had everything we could need and more. Situated facing the water, and could see the water from every window. Outside area has lounge chairs, grill and table. Loved being able to jump in the water right outside the back door. Location is perfect! We had one little hiccup with the internet through no fault of the homeowner; it was definitely the provider. Regardless, Susan was very responsive and addressed it immediately. One of the best places we have ever stayed and we will be back and hope to stay at the Boathouse again!

The Perfect Stay

I've been coming to Bermuda for a little over 30 years, and this has been one of the nicest places that i've stayed on the Island. It felt like a mini resort. The location is fantastic. Its centrally located, so everything is easy to get to. As for the Boathouse itself. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The host had everything that we needed already in the house. The property is unbelievable. It has its own private little beach.... We loved sitting outside every morning before venturing out for the day and when we came home, we'd jump in the Sound and relax. The sunsets are amazing from the house as well. I could go on and on about how great the place is.... I cant wait to go back !!!!! Y airesort just for us.

Great stay in Bermuda

We stayed at the Boathouse for four days in May 2024 for a brief holiday following Bermuda’s SailGP Grand Prix event. The property was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. All furniture, appliances and amenities are quite new. The private part of the outdoor space was great for BBQing when we didn’t feel like going to a restaurant. The shared beach area and waterfront are beautiful and peaceful. It was awesome to have access to paddle boards and the property has a little inlet where fish and birds congregate and we even saw a sea turtle. The grocery store was about a 20 minute walk and restaurants, the aquarium and zoo about 15 — which was great! Walking might not be ideal for the faint of heart as there are a few spots without sidewalk, but Hitch drivers (Bermuda’s Uber equivalent) were always available and there are bus stops just a few steps away. Susan was a great host. She made sure we got in OK and answered any questions but didn’t impose at all. We would absolutely stay at the Boathouse again. The property is —like so much of Bermuda — amazing.
