Great location, 6 minute walk to Simpson bay beach, 10 minute walk to Maho beach, 15 minute walk to Maho village shopping, bars and restaurants. Felt safe with security booth to enter area. Great views from deck.Quiet area. Host was friendly and available as needed, quick communication. Air conditioning was good. Ceiling fan does not work and a cabinet needs new hinges. Could use another dish towel.

The location was wonderful and the views were unbeatable however there were issues with having the bare minimum for our stay. The listing says full kitchen, however the lack of simple salt and pepper and cooking oil really made using the kitchen difficult and frustrating. We were cooking on a dry pan… and I refuse to stock a rental for a short visit to enjoy the kitchen we had hoped for to make some basic meals. The listing says there’s a washer and dryer, however there is no laundry detergent provided. This is absolutely not something I would purchase for our six day stay. I was upset to not be able to use this amenity and insane to ask guests to purchase detergent. Then don’t provide a machine. Similarly, we were only provided two rolls of toilet paper, even though I had requested more and was told more would be provided, they were not. It should be better communicated that you have to walk through the hosts balcony and that there are two dogs. The door between the two balconies is concerning as we could easily be locked in from the other side. Bella was responsive when I requested a new iron as the one in the room was not working.As noted in some other comments the sheets had some stains. I would have tossed them in the laundry machine should we have had detergent. Great spot to walk to nearby beaches but lacking basics to enjoy the stay.

I really enjoyed this stay. The location is perfect, and the balcony is quite literally right on top of the water. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep every night, which was amazing.Just a small note: you do walk through the host’s balcony area to get to your accommodations. It wasn’t a problem at all, though—she was very respectful of our privacy and everything went very smoothly.Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The washer and dryer need to be replaced. They are in bad shape. The fridge shows signs of rust, but someone has painted over it. The owner sent me a message asking if I was at the unit by chance. I said not at the moment. Why. She said, Hi! Sorry...wanted to check if the entrance door knob was locking good! Got it!. I told her we never mentioned the entrance door knob. Little did I know there was a security camera at the entrance door. I understand it was for security reasons, but it made me feel like she's spying on me. I don't appreciate it at all. The kitchen is ok. It needs some work. There are some rusts on the faucet. They don't provide a kitchen towel!!!! Additionally, there are no paper towels available. She said if we ran out of napkins, we'd have to buy more. That's ridiculous. They put two toilet papers under the sink. If we ran out of it, we'd have to buy more from the store. The slide door is tough to open and close. It's impossible to love it. The interior door handle. The owner said we must bring the keys with us because if we sit on the patio, the sliding door could shut and lock us in. That's not true. As I said, the sliding door can't shut by itself. The stairs are steep.

Incredible view. Very clean. Ice cold AC. Washer and dryer in unit. Kitchen big enough for a house.Only issue was there are 4 curtain rods and only 3 curtains. So place get bright in am.Short drive to airport and maho beach.

Beautiful studio, amazing view!

I was very pleased with this accommodation. It is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood, walking distance to 2 beaches and shopping. The ocean is right under your balcony! Amazing view! I would stay there again.

Great relaxing spot!

Property is in a safe quiet part of the island and still walking distance to all the Maho activity and nearby beaches. The balcony is private and has phenomenal views of the sunset. At night you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean outside. Best sleep I've had in ages.The interior is light, clean and comfortable.Will definitely stay here again!

Clean and Comfortable for Two

Quiet area right on the shoreline, excellent view, easy walk to beach, restaurants and shops. If staying for more than a couple of days be prepared to purchase supplies, no 'complimentary items' are offered.

BASIC amenities Our 2 week stay

Cozy, great location; like photos. There are issues: -Patio door/main entrance doesn't lock. The door is off it's frame -Safe doesn't work. Owner said that the previous tenant broke it -Washing machine doesn't work. Owner told us this 2 days before we left home. She did offer to do our laundry, we declined -Kitchen utensils are pitiful. NO can opener, bottle opener, scissors, wine glasses, tumblers, TOASTER. -Knives were blunt & some rusty, the colander had big holes so pasta would go down the drain, 4 coffee cups - 2 gigantic & 2 small -Only 2 garbage bags provided, though owner asks that we take out garbage daily -No dustbin or broom (only broom outside on patio) -No paper towels & only 1 roll of toilet paper provided -"basic soaps" provided was a pump hand soap. No starter kit of a small shampoo or a bar of soap -Bed ok & A/C worked well. It however blew onto your head & neck while in the bed -Gate between owner's & rental could blow open; bolt doesn't fit/lock properly. Her 2 cute dogs came by & left us poop surprises twice. The 2nd time, I stepped in it. -A Welcome package for guests or at least a big bottle of water would be nice Our flight home of April 4 was delayed, then cancelled. We phoned & wrote to owner as soon as we knew, approx 11:58 am, from airport to ask if we could stay longer. She replied AFTER we were en route to home on April 5. We had to find a room at The Atrium. Hence the 2 star rating. Would a toaster, glasses, scissors, etc really break her bank?
