We recently stayed at this listing for four nights while in town for a youth sports tournament. The location was excellent, and we really appreciated the pool, hot tub, and the setup of the basement apartment itself. The space was clean and comfortable overall, and the amenities made our stay enjoyable.
There were a few challenges during our visit that future guests may want to be aware of. Because the rental is a basement apartment, noise from the upstairs home carries very easily. We could hear nearly every footstep and conversation from above throughout our stay.
One evening, the upstairs home hosted a large party that became very loud, with children running, stomping, screaming, and guests talking loudly late into the evening. The noise continued until around 11 p.m. Unfortunately, we were not informed ahead of confirming the rental that a party would be taking place. Since we were in town for a tournament and our kids needed to wake up early for full days of competition, this made it difficult to get the rest we needed.
Overall, this rental has some great features and a convenient location, but guests who are sensitive to noise or traveling for events requiring early mornings may want to keep the shared-home setup in mind. Hope that the rental will get blocked out on dates there are planned parties or at least let renters know in advance of party so they can decide if this location is a right fit for them.
