Gorgeous renovation/rebuild, sleek design, all comforts accounted for

We loved our stay at La Casita! Three friends getting away for the weekend. Kitchen has everything for cooking, and indoor spaces were comfortable and beautifully designed. We went in the fall - the leaves were at their peak, but we did not use any of the outdoor space due to the season. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house very clean. 4 stars overall. Only small issue was Landscaping could’ve been better maintained especially leading to and around fire pit.

La Casita

This property lived up to its expectations, we walked in to a extremely clean property which was very comfortable. This property was recently renovated and we really enjoyed all of the modern conveniences. Each room had it's own eating unit which was nice if you like to have one room at a different temp then the others. Our interactions with the owners and property manage were positive. The property is located on a dead end which meant it was very quiet and gave a good area to take the dog for a walk. I would stay here again.

Lovely little house

My husband, teenage daughter and I spent four winter nights in Saugerties, and this house was practically perfect in every way. It was immaculate, well stocked and smartly laid out, with lots of skylights and windows that filled the house with light. We loved sitting by the fireplace, cooking in the kitchen and exploring the nearby hiking trails and downtown Saugerties, which has some great shops and restaraunts. There were a few things we wished for — a place near the front door to hang coats and leave wet shoes, dressers in the bedrooms — but overall, this was a lovely property and we would absolutely visit again.

We enjoyed the house and it was very much what we were expecting. Just one issue, and two comments. There were a lot of ants in the house, large black ones, perhaps a spraying is in order. The outside was a little untidy, it need to be weeded in the front and in the back, especially by the firepit. The bushes by the entry and side of the driveway need to be trimmed back. Parking was very tricky with three suvs.

Nice House; Yard Needs Work

We enjoyed our stay at the house in Saugerties. The house has been recently renovated, and the finishes are nice and the design thoughtful. That said, the yard was overgrown (both the grass and the trees adjacent to the driveway) so was not usable during our time at the house, which was disappointing. We would suggest the owner address these issues so that future guests do not have similar issues.

HITS Horse Show Stay

The property is within 10 min of the showgrounds which is ideal. It’s well appointed, sufficiently spacious and very comfortable. The outdoor space is great too. The only criticism we have (and it’s very specific to our situation) is that the driveway is very tight for large vehicles. We have a dual wheel pickup and a large SUV and it was tough to get both easily in/out - especially the pickup because the driveway is quite narrow as is the road the house is located on. We managed to get both trucks in/out but if the shrubs were cut back a bit more along the driveway it would make maneuvering a lot easier.

Good Location

The house is in a great location and worked well for my family of 3 plus our dog. The beds and linens were very comfortable. However, I thought there was room for improvement. The home was not well inspected prior to our arrival and there were some maintenance issues.. The biggest problem was that the lock on the back sliding door was broken and could not be locked. I spent a lot of my personal time trying to get someone to fix it and figuring out a way to secure the door in the interim. There were other issues as well such as the stair rail being loose and shaky. The driveway is very difficult to pull out of and would be challenging for more than one car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but thought there was room for improvement.

Terrific House

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casita. It was three couples & a pup and we had a terrific time! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the wood burning fire place :)
