Overall it was fine, but it needs a deep clean, we had to make our own beds on arrival and there are security issues. I had to reach out to the host a couple hours before check in - who responded quickly and kindly - regarding how to access the house as no information was sent. You can tell it’s wiped down and quickly cleaned between guests, but a deep clean would be beneficial for the bathrooms, faucets, showers, tub, etc. We had to finish making all the beds as just a top sheet was laid on top of the bare mattresses. We had to find and clean fitted sheets, make the beds and we ended up using towels as blankets. The biggest concern, however, is the potential security issue. This is a duplex and there was a door that looked like it was an access point between the two units. It is only locked with a doorknob lock and only accessible through the other unit. So they could easily come in at any point while we had no way of locking our side. This was not mentioned in the listing and would have kept us from booking for sure. We’re not sure if this was just a locked closet or a door to the other unit, but it was unsettling. Otherwise, plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood, good location, nice size and plenty of kitchen space.
