While the room was clean and the location is convenient, our experience was overshadowed by maintenance failures and poor service. The refrigerator was broken, and the bathroom sink had a major crack that resulted in a cut on my finger. When we reported it, the staff dismissed it as a "functioning" sink rather than addressing the safety and health hazard. Check-in was also a mess. We arrived at 10 AM and were told to return at 3 PM. Even after returning at the requested time, we weren't given a key until nearly 4 PM. The front desk is incredibly disorganized and lacked any sense of urgency.

Cleaning staff were very thorough. Some expected stuff like overpriced laundry services. Generally a very good breakfast in the restaurant with real scrambled eggs (not instant) provided every day, along with bacon/ham and another choice on the warm serving line. Juice bar, coffee, and tea. Daily choice of fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, etc. along with a continental breakfast bar with sweets and croisants. The "refrigerator" in the room was more like a wine cooler, barely cooler than room tempature. Did not observe a microwave being available. Room had a safe and an iron, hair dryer.

Overall, a good stay, but I was disappointed with my check-in experience. I asked the front desk to get a room away from the elevators, and they have me a room right in front. The next morning, well before check out, another front staff person have be another room far away from the elevator. Having my request ignored and having to ask again denies me from giving a higher star rating.
