The room was perfect for our needs. It was clean and very comfortable. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff a was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and will look to stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites in the future,

We are locals who had to get out of our house for a couple days while our floors were being replaced. Very nice room except for a “master switch” was not labeled which made trying to turn lights off and on interesting. Found out this info by asking the front desk about it. Staff who checked us in brought up 4-5 times that she did not approve of us booking through a third party site. I almost asked her “do you just want us to leave?” The night before we left I arranged for a noon late checkout which apparently was not documented anywhere. Someone came to our room at noon (as we were leaving) and told us we were supposed to have checked out at 11. Also a front desk person mentioned to me that she had seen our door propped open when I went to get a new key to replace a lost one (it was propped for my kids given the aforementioned lost key). Overall the staff seemed super intense (not in a good way) and worried about everything the guests were doing. To be expected in a small town I guess. Pool and hot tub and exercise room were nice. Breakfast was fine.
