Durante el verano solo podemos reservar alquileres semanales de sábado a sábado.

Duerme 12, 5 habitaciones. 2 baños completos. 1 tiene una bañera. Estacionamiento para 3 autos en el camino recién pavimentado. Recientemente renovado en 2015-2016, construido en 1883. Esta es una espaciosa casa de campo histórica de 2,400 pies cuadrados que ha pertenecido a la misma familia desde 1912 con grandes ventanas de la Gran Sala y una terraza de secoya de 1200 pies cuadrados y un patio de ladrillo con una mesa al aire libre de buen tamaño y un anillo de fuego de roca con vistas a la playa de Twin Lakes y el faro de la 7ma Avenida, y la playa del puerto, las olas, los veleros entrando y saliendo del puerto con gracia.

Hermosas puestas de sol en la playa y en la casa.

A solo 1/2 cuadra de la playa. La cocina y la sala de entretenimiento tienen pisos de madera renovada, gabinetes a medida, encimeras de mármol y carnicería y un mini bar. La sala de entretenimiento cuenta con una pantalla de panel plano de 60 pulgadas y 5. 1 sistema de sonido envolvente.

En The Great Room, la sala de estar y el comedor están en cada extremo con pisos de madera originales y grandes alfombras orientales de lana. Mesa de comedor con capacidad para 8 (16 con las hojas).

El dormitorio principal con una cama king tiene una vista maravillosa desde grandes ventanales que dan al lago y la playa. También tiene una puerta privada en el baño de la planta baja. Este baño tiene una ducha / bañera con rieles para discapacitados y una puerta que da al pasillo. El segundo piso tiene 4 dormitorios. El primer dormitorio de arriba tiene
2 camas individuales con una bonita vista al mar. El segundo dormitorio tiene 1 cama doble con grandes ventanas con vista al lago y al océano. El tercer dormitorio tiene grandes ventanas que dan al océano, una cama queen y dos literas gemelas. El cuarto dormitorio tiene una cama doble. El baño de arriba es grande con una ducha y lavadoras de carga frontal. Todos los pisos de madera noble de arriba han sido renovados.

La cubierta tiene una mesa de teca con 8 sillas. Hay cuatro tumbonas ajustables grandes y una hermosa vista al mar. El patio de ladrillos con la hoguera tiene 8 sillas Adirondack y una barbacoa de carbón.

WI-FI a internet en el hogar. 5 minutos en coche de Capitola, 5 minutos en coche del paseo marítimo de la playa de Santa Cruz. 5 minutos a pie del puerto deportivo.

Everything you'd want in a Santa Cruz house

Great location and you can see and walk to the local beach, the harbor and lighthouse, and the Boardwalk. You're on East Cliff drive, but the property is elevated above street level so it does feel separated from the traffic even if you hear the random harley ride by. The home is accurate to the pictures and description. The kitchen is well equipped, there is plenty of living space for 10+ people, the beds are comfortable, the linens are clean. My family unanimously voted to book again next summer

Santa Cruz

We were more than pleased with the property. I was concerned that this 140 years house would be cold & drafty, but it was quite comfortable. We did not need to use the heater at all. It has a nice TV, but we enjoyed the view so much we never watched TV at all. The beds & pillows were clean & comfortable; we all slept well. The showers were good; with 6 people taking showers we had plenty of hot water. The was a fairly new washer & dryer. This house has many picture depicting the history of this old, but charming house. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Eastside Santa Cruz

We enjoyed our time in this "vintage" beach house. The home is older and creaky as you move about but that is part of its charm. There were 11 of us. We were comfortable in the bedrooms and the dining table expanded to accommodate our group. The kitchen had enough pots and pans and other necessities for us to prepare our meals easily. The views of the ocean were enjoyed inside and out all week long. The home is accessed via a small street/alleyway but we had no issues with our 12 passenger van getting to the home or parking in the large driveway which would have accommodated at least one additional car. The management team had information regarding the rental at the house and clear expectations for the home and for check out. It was a very enjoyable week and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Plenty of space both inside and out.If you want to get out of the sun, the umbrella helps but there is no where to go outside. And the table is not where it is in the picture, it is out the sliding door. The original house was built around the late 1800's and has been upgraded, but there are places that show its age. It was a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet. The street however, is very noisy with a lot of traffic. There were a couple things that were a negative: the bbq is not what the picture shows, so one of our kids brought their own (the bbq has a big gap in the back where it should be closed so airflow can be controlled), and there is no railing along the deck where someone could fall off and be injured. Be sure you write down the code, when calling as you enter because if you leave before the office opens there is no way to leave the key in the lockbox.

After the 2023 trip I asked my family if they wanted to rebook or try something new, and unanimously they said rebook.Location is key. The property is as represented in the pics and posting. Its comfortable and we had many a meal for 10 and multiple game nights. The kitchen is well equipped. I did bring a drink cooler the 2nd year as the fridge isn't large. Every kitchen doodad and doohicky is there for whipping up a meal. Did I mention the beach? Its right there. Will definitely book again!

2-980 East Cliff Drive

This was our second year at this house, and we have put in our reservation for next year.The location is perfect with plenty of room for all of us. There are a few items that need to be upgraded. A LED strip should be installed around the uneven steps at the top of the stairs to avoid anyone tripping at night. The light switch midway on the rail is not in a good location. The lighting in the dining, sitting and TV area quite dim. The overhead fixtures need to be cleaned and brighter bulbs installed. For safety reasons, there should be an outside light to illuminate the back steps and the edge of the patio to avoid someone stepping off the deck since there is no railing.

House worked ok, although we could have used another bathroom. For a house so close to beach, beach chairs and towels should be provided. The clothing dryer did not work properly. Needed to run it for a long while to get the clothing to dry. We had to request kitchen towels as there were only 2 provided for a weeks stay for 10 people. We were given an additional 2 which was inadequate. The deck and outside area was great and we enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck.

It was a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet. The street however, is very noisy with a lot of traffic. There were a couple things that were a negative: the bbq is not what the picture shows, so one of our kids brought their own (the bbq has a big gap in the back where it should be closed so airflow can be controlled), and there is no railing along the deck where someone could fall off and be injured. Be sure you write down the code, when calling as you enter because if you leave before the office opens there is no way to leave the key in the lockbox.
