Definitely unique. However, no elevators makes access difficult. Breakfast was coffee in room or an extra charge for what other hotels normally provide. The room needed repairs to wallpaper and other minor repairs to the decor. However, loved the bidet.

The good and the not so good!

Staying at the Madonna Inn was a bucket list item for me. For our 25th wedding anniversary we pulled the trigger. Paid nearly $400 a night to stay in the “Captain’s Bridge”. Check in was easy, service in the restaurant & lounge was fabulous! The cons..bring an eye mask & ear plugs. Light from outside filters in through the slats in the blinds. The Inn is a hot spot for events. There were wedding parties & birthday parties all staying that weekend. The room to the south of us was a part of one of these groups. The walls are thin & apparently people are clueless. Arriving into their room at 2am & continuing the party in room we waited hoping eventually they would pass out. Finally at 2:30am I called guest services to report the noise. 10 minutes later security knocked on their door & asked they keep it down as they received a “noise complaint”. Security did not stick around to see if they would comply. Knowing someone “tattled” on them seemed to only anger them more! Couldn’t Security have just said they were patrolling & could hear them? I’m certain the way they were shouting you could here them from the outside. We then got to sit & listen to their sailor mouth F us for the complaint. They finally quieted down at 3:30am but my hope for sleep that night was lost. That party checked out for our second night only to be replaced by another party group. I guess it’s just the crowd this place attracts. If you are looking for a relaxing couples trip or family getaway stay elsewhere

I have driven past The Madonna Inn a million times, and finally decided to stay there. Just a weekend getaway... but my stay at the Madonna was special. A UNIQUE room, great service, a beautiful property, and exeptional food.

Needs some attention

It's an awesome hotel if you want a little variety in your room. I've been coming here over the years and it's always great to stay in new rooms. HOWEVER, it feels as though NOTHING has been updated in eons. The furnishings are old, tired and peeling. The carpet is sticky. The shower had zero water pressure. The pillows were horrible (lumpy) and the mattress/bedding were barely passable. The eclectic vibe is fun - but that shouldn't mean they get a pass on all of the niceties that make it a comfortable stay. And the room was not cheap - it definitely didn't match expectations for what we got for that price. I like Madonna Inn. But it just feels so old and tired.
