This is a beautiful hotel and property. The lobby is spacious and inviting. The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious. The pools are great. The beach is nice if you are looking for calm waters, but you would need to go elsewhere to catch any waves. The beach is man made and has a break-wall that prevents the water from getting wavy. It’s a great place for kids to play. I did not expect to see so many children, but it seems very popular with families. My complaints are limited, bur the availability of food options was disappointing. For such a busy and large hotel, I expected either more options or extended hours. There is a breakfast restaurant but it’s only open 7-11, leaving very few options for lunch. There are a couple of shops, an ice cream place, and a Starbucks for snacks and beverages. It was difficult to find healthy options midday. The rooms have tiny refrigerators and no microwave so it wasn’t easy to purchase food to have on hand in the room. The food at the restaurants was good and worth the money. There didn’t seem to be many restaurants that were walkable, but Ubers and taxis were readily available and affordable. My other issue is the lack of restrooms in the main lobby areas. There are only two sets on the main floor, and only one is close to the pool/beach area, and that one is shared by other people who are attending conferences.
The Caribe is a beautiful place to vacation however you can tell the property is on the older side. My family and I stayed in the wave wing on the 19th floor and one of the elevators was broken so we had to almost stop on every floor to get up and down. Besides that, the staff was great and the housekeeping did a great job.
Nice hotel with many amenities. The hotel is a little dated but it’s still looks ok but not to a real Hilton resort feel. The outdoor property is really nice and the pools and private beach area is well kept. The breakfast is not to Hilton hotel standards it tastes like a school lunchroom breakfast. The hotel is in a good area and close to everything with a short car ride.

There were a few things we did not like. The hotel does not seem to have sufficient food opportunities for their guests. The breakfast restaurant in the hotel opens at 7 am and immediately after opening a significant line formed. The seating process was slow. The beach was also crowded and could not really accommodate the number of guests. We had to reserve chairs at the beach early in the morning.

Beautiful resort with lots of dining and pools options. Only thing that I did not like was the stink smell that would fill the hallways occasionally. Other than that, I would say this is the best hotel in San Juan. Perfect location and close to all of the popular spots!

Overall the hotel is very clean. However while I was there, the staff ran out of towels by the pool, there was a lot of empty lounge chairs with wet towels no longer in use and also empty cups and bottles. No fault of the staff but they should make more rounds to keep the pool area clean and chairs clear.
