The Casa Wilson is a beautiful 1930’s home converted into an inn. I was told that it has 15 rooms. The room I stayed in was clean and it was right above the lobby facing Wilson Avenue. I stayed one night due to an appointment early in the morning in Santurce. I live in the south-west area of the island. The area was very quiet and the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, I did not get to sample the breakfast since I left before it was available. You could not beat the price for the one-night stay. The only drawback to the stay was the lack of parking. I was able to obtain a $15.00 prepaid parking card – they have some spots available – to a parking lot serving Condado Palm on Magdalena Avenue. The parking lot is a 5-minute walk from the inn. I was told the parking lot was the “Magdalena Parking” but it is the “Condado Palm” parking lot. The morning I checked out, I stopped across from the gate to the inn to set up my GPS. A few minutes later a state police car was honking at me to keep going. So, plan your departure. Nonetheless, I would stay there again and it looks like I will have to stay there again soon.
