Thanksgiving 2022 in San Jose Del Cabo

We stayed at Villa Linda 32 over Thanksgiving week with our family. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and spacious. The outdoor areas were all amazing. Great ocean views from most of the house. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a group of 9 family members rent this house for our vacation. Our initial impression was that the house was beautiful. And it was!! Plenty of room for everyone. The overall cleanliness was mediocre at best. Plenty of surfaces had not been cleaned in quite some time. The maid provided daily was extremely slow and inefficient for her days worth of work. We found ourselves cleaning and restocking toilet paper more often than not. One towel was provided in each bathroom which was obviously not sufficient. And we were always looking for dry pool towels. The main fridge in the kitchen continually froze our food resulting in throwing out hundreds of dollars worth of groceries. We did contact the management company three times regarding it and although a repairman was apparently sent (we were out) the fridge was still not working on the day we left. We did use the smaller bar fridges as suggested but between beverages and food for 9 people this was not an acceptable solution. The media room speakers on the tv do not work and we had some pretty disappointed kids when their movie night was cancelled based on this after getting settled in with their blankets and snacks. Before booking the house I inquired to ensure the pool was heated. And was assured that it was. Upon arrival we were informed it was heated but would be an additional charge. The noise warning posted on this ad was not posted when we booked months in advance. Had a warning been posted we would have bypassed this house completely as renting such an expensive home and being asked to leave during the day is not acceptable to us. There were times we couldn't even hear each other over the construction noise. A generator was running daily from 9am-5pm not to mention the front end loader noise. The construction is located directly across from the house so it was very loud. The beach club was beautiful and had wonderful food. We were excited to have access to the beach club for the gym usage however as a renter vs owner we did not have access until after 12pm which did not suite our schedules at all. When I had emailed inquiring about the gym we were told we had full access to it so we were disappointed to find this out. The house is beautiful, the open concept is incredible with the retracting walls. All the beds are very comfortable and it also has plenty of space for a large group. We will return to this area but unfortunately not to this particular house.

Golf Trip

We booked the house for a golf trip. The staff was top notch and very accommodating. The house was clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this place.
