Hotel is dated, but well kept. A good value for your money. Still, walls are very thin and you just feel the people in the next room are right there. Lots of noise when neighboors used the bathroom.
This hotel was so comfortable and nice. We loved the design and vibes. The pool area is great, the restaurants have delicious food, and the staff is so friendly. We will definitely be staying here again if we’re in the area!
We stayed here for a wedding in the area and we will definitely be back! The property and staff are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool area is huge and clean. Both restaurants at the hotel have great food and the staff are so helpful. This is definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in San Diego.
There wasn’t a proper seal around the entry door of the room, so the cricket hanging out both nights wasn’t a surprise. Also, tub and sink need updating. I understand the hotel is older, but rusting and discoloration should be an easy fix.
I always stay at The Kings Inn when I visit my son at SDSU. It’s close to campus and easy access to places around San Diego that we like to explore while we’re visiting. The restaurant is amazing and the property is clean and well-kept with a 50’s design.
We found this hotel positioning strategic, clean and safe for our family, we loved our pool view room on ground floor and liked the pool curfew of 10 pm to give guest the opportunity to rest. We chose this hotel because it had an option of microwave upon request, but we were charged $ 5 Dlls. Per day, on the second day I spoke with a very nice man clerk and expressed my concern and he kindly waived the second and third day charge. I would recommend this hotel to families with small children, and will come again on my next trip.
