Great location close to the train station, Mirabel gardens and hop on hop off bus in walking distance. We ate in the restaurant every night, meals were well priced and amazing.The staff were a great help with our questions. The hotel is situated in the New Town with the Old Town a 15 minute walk away. The walk does take you past many shops and eateries and is very pleasant.

Definite Stay

Mercure in Salzburg is in a quiet neighborhood not far from the central station. Double bed was firm but comfy. Bathroom was fine with large enough shower although i don't know why there was a towel bar in front of the sink. Breakfast buffet ay 24 euros was a little high although selection was good. I'd definitely stay there again if i return to Salzburg.
