Nestled in the Bountiful foothills, you'll love the private entrance to your own full walkout basement apartment. Over 1,500 sq ft. Tranquil and wooded backyard with occasional deer. Thoughtfully decorated with new furnishings and the grandeur of 10 foot ceilings throughout.

Walk to Bountiful temple plus hiking/biking trails! Great wifi. Washer/dryer. 20 minutes from SLC Airport. Smoke free (no smoking permitted anywhere inside or outside the property).

Come relax at your Mountain View Retreat!

Residential neighborhood in the foothills. No neighbors behind you (wooded hillside area).

Gorgeous basement apartment with private entrance that leads into beautiful living room with large sectional couch and reading chair. From there, make your way into the fully equipped kitchen with a large picture window overlooking the wooded view.

Adjacent is the comfy family room with 60 inch TV and charming, decorative wood burning stove--the perfect place for family gathering and relaxing. Some games, puzzles, and books provided.

2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms provide excellent living space. Master BR has queen size bed. Much smaller 2nd BR has delightful bunk bed. Living room has new hide-a-bed sleeper. Master bedroom has desk area for remote work. Both bathrooms are rather small; one has tub/shower while the other has a shower. New full-size washer/dryer, ironing board, etc..

Everything is easy access with no stairs.

Watch the lovely sunsets from the back patio! Fenced in backyard for children, plus small basketball area. Becomes a winter wonderland when it snows, with a private tubing/sledding hill for kids in the backyard! Enjoy the hammock overlooking the valley from spring through autumn. Beautiful birds year round.

Terrific place for vacations, remote work trips, or short-term rental.

We live upstairs if you have questions or need recommendations or anything else! You may hear our gentle footsteps and light noise from time to time!

Highly desirable location. Walking distance to marvelous hiking and biking trails. Surrounded by both world-class and family-friendly ski resorts, all accessible in under an hour. Golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants, theatres, spas and rec center are also all within minutes.

Only 20 min to downtown Salt Lake and the SLC airport.

15 minutes to Lagoon (amusement park) and Station Park (premier shopping and dining). 10 min to FrontRunner train station.

Only .4 miles to the Bountiful Temple (you'll see it out your window!)

Pure excellence!

The location is a little bit out of the city proper but that’s not a bad thing! It took us about 15-20 mins to get to downtown. And in the evenings we were nestled in the hills of Bountiful. It was so lovely. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The property has a separate entrance and driveway. It is a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment under the main house. You can tell that a lot of care was taken to make the apartment warm, inviting and cozy. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owners are very attentive and care a great deal about making their guests comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the place just feels like home. It’s very clean and overall just excellent. If you are going to SLC, stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely place for hiking, skiing and working remotely

We enjoyed our week at the Mountain View retreat immensely. Our apartment was comfortable and spacious and located in a beautiful spot for walking and hiking. It was easy to get to Snowbasin and nice to return to. Jen was a wonderful host and responded quickly to our questions. we would definitely recommend this property!

What a view!

Came into town for a wedding at the Bountiful Temple. The place was perfect form our family to gather before and between and after events happening in a variety of places in town. So close to Salt Lake City and all the happenings there too. Communications with the owners were easy and quickly responded too. And the view from the ravine on evening walks was ncredible.
