It was clean and smelled clean both in the lobby and in our room. The beds were comfortable, and the room temperature was nice. The bathroom was large and that was a really nice feature for our family of 4 sharing the room. Unfortunately, we went down to use the pool and hot tub and the room they were in was unbelievably hot and humid, water was dripping from the ceiling and walls and the chlorine was thick in the air and the pools. Several other guests left the pool area with small children after just a few minutes because their eyes and skin were burning. We only lasted about 20 minutes before our eyes started to burn and water and our skin was burning by the time we got back to our room. We tried to call the front desk to report what happened at the pool and got hung up on twice. The continental breakfast was really good, but no one was wiping the tables in between people using them and they were sticky and dirty.

The room was great. It was large and clean! The breakfast is the real stand out at this hotel. There are lots of delicious options to start the day out great! The staff was friendly and courteous, and very helpful when my GrubHub driver did not bring plates or utensils for our dinner. They have a nice convenience shop where we were able to get Claritin for the smoggy air conditions that were giving us all sinus trouble. All-around great place to stay!

The personnel at this Hampton Inn are wonderful. We stayed for 3 days and were shuttled to/from Lagoon and every staff member we encountered was extremeley friendly, kind and helpful. Our only and biggest issue was that our room smelled like mildew. It was so intense that at times we could not be in the room, and even after an exhausting day at Lagoon I could not sleep because of the smell. We told the front desk after the first night and they sent maintenance up to double check the filters, which were fine, and they replaced them just in case. It still did not help the smell and air quality. Otherwise, great hotel.
