Just a block from Temple Square, I was thrilled to spend a week at the Kimball. Never lacking of things to do within walking distance. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to the staff whom made it such an enjoyable stay.
wanted to experience the city from historical point of view. the kimball was steeped in history with heber c kimball and some of his 42 wives burried on the property. the people at the front desk also knew a lot of history of the city and were glad to share.
Stayed at the Kimball in downtown SLC. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The resort was dated but offered everything you would need in a resort. Did not like that they allow pets in their resorts perhaps for "owners".
First of all, the hotel staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The location was walking distance from Temple Square and the heart of the city It was clean and had lots of room. They really went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience.
What can I say. This hotel was clean, quiet, well maintained, and comfortable. Very attractive property. We had a one bedroom apartment that had a full kitchen and plenty of closet space. Ample free parking. It is located within walking distance of many attractions. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel very welcome and were helpful through our entire stay. This is the type of place I love to stay at. We will stay here again when we are in this area.
Very clean area of City. Lots of flowers everywhere! Much to see and do within walking distance. People were very polite. Went on 3 tours with City Sites tour company. The tours were very informative and good.
We arrived to join a wedding party and found everything in order. Room to spread out and enjoy the family and friends as we got ready for the day. Plenty of room to eat, sleep and prepare for the days ahead.
Spent a week plus one night here on a timeshare exchange, and since we arrived one night early, they were nice enough to give us a discount on that night and put us in the unit we were going to be staying in, so that we didn't need to move rooms. We had a one bedroom, which supposedly sleeps 4 but the sleeper sofa would have blocked any access to the exit and the kitchenette. For 2 it is fine. Their guest lounge had a Keurig machine with cocoa and coffee, their fitness room was clean with nice machines, and everything was very clean. Our room had very worn out sofa and dining table chair cushions, plus our queen bed mattress was super soft. The unit needs a bit of TLC, but the location is wonderful for walking everywhere, the Capitol, the hiking trails in the hills, the LDS Temple complex, and downtown shops, etc. Nice staff, esp. Emily.
Front desk staff were very nice. Room was comfortable and had a murphy bed. It had an older traditional feel to it. Parking was right out front and it was an easy walk to areas near the temple. We only had a one night stay so we didn't see much of the property.
We had never stayed at a condo with a Murphy bed but we found it quite handy and convenient. It had all the necessities we needed to make it very comfortable for our weeks stay. We were within walking distance to so many of the places we wanted to visit. We would be very happy to stay there again.
