The hotel its self was very nice. The bathrooms were about normal for hotel bathrooms, the beds were good. The movies and TV selection were not so good. Standard definition video? No menu to look up what is playing? I know it was some kind of cable or satellite, but most of those services these days have a menu. Otherwise hotel is great.

it was great. very close to the convention center.

This is a nice hotel. Make note that there is a Marriott City Creek and Mariott City Center. These names are way too similar. This location is great for being right by the convention center and the beautiful mall with lots of dining options. I had a nice stay here. I do struggle to understand why this hotel insists on charging for an form of internet. Didn't that end 20 years ago? I stayed here for an event and I will definitely be telling the event that they should consider another hotel because a business event attendees neet internet included and wifi all over. It's just that simple.

I stay here once a year for a conference I attend. Really love it. Clean. Great service. Reasonable rates for the location and I LOVED the view from my room at night. Just fabulous.

Staff was wonderful with my boys and did everything they could to make us feel special.

Great central city location to many types of shopping and worship

Met every expectation!! We love the location in downtown Salt Lake City! The pool and hot tub were clean and great temperatures! Can't wait to go back! The only downside was no complimentary wifi you had to pay for it.

The stay at this hotel from the room, location, and food was wonderful. The staff at the hotel is above the board and sets the bar. We had to adjust our stay due to a job opportunity at the last minute. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a room at the same rate and helped us get transportation. We travel a lot and all hotel staff should take a page from their book.

Typical old Mariott. Room was clean, but stinky, so we had to go out and buy Febreze. No WiFi in rooms :-( Great location though...

I recently had an event I hosted at the City Creek Marriott, in addition I had a room. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I will defiantly return for future events and trips.

They had everything I wanted. Good breakfast. Nice bed. Wonderful staff. Perfect location for what I was doing.

Great Location in walking distant of all my wants. Beautiful hotel. Just a few thoughts, I did not like to have to pay for internet access for my lap top and no fridge and or microwave. However it is a awesome hotel great location and I would stay there again. The beds are perfect, comfortable and come with LED bed headboard lights.

Location, location, location. This is a very nice hotel with what you would expect, but the real plus comes when you walk out the door to visit the downtown area of Salt Lake City. You are there!

It was a great location, right in the heart of downtown Salt Lake. I would not recommend staying there on New Years Eve! Very noisy and loud all hours of the night. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. I was not very impressed for the price of the hotel. Room service is great and the food was amazing. They also don't tell you it is 12 dollars a day for parking.

really enjoyed our stay. nice rooms with nice views.

Nice stay but hotel would not let us have breakfast. Online reservation came with breakfast included, but manager would not let us have it.

Fabulous hotel and worth the money. Beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well.

I was there for a conference that took place in the hotel. Check in and check out were very fast and easy. The entire hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and had great views. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The conference rooms were very clean and the food served was overall pretty good. Salt Lake City is the most polite and clean city I have ever been to. Also it is a beautiful city. Every where you look the view is like a painting. I would have never come if it wasn't for business but I am glad I did and would like to come back soon and stay at this hotel.

The room was great. The entire place was clean and welcoming. The staff were all accommodating and I loved the big fire place in the lobby. One issue, however, was that you couldn't get a single normal t.v. station (besides FitTV and the news) without paying for it. There were better t.v. channel options on the ellipticals at the gym, which I enjoyed while I was there. I also found the menu choices at Elevations to be predictable and uninspiring. The food was fine but I expected more from such a large hotel. I had an easy time getting to and from the hotel using an Express shuttle but, again, I thought because of its size and numerous other amenities that it would have its own shuttle service. I recommend getting one! Overall, it was a good experience. I'm not raving, but I'm also not ranting.
