booked two queens got a king, staff did not have a good answer

Consistently Marriott. Clean comfortable and fair prices

The staff was very friendly, especially the bartenders. The loby is very beautiful and clean. The rooms were very simple yet tasteful which was very relaxing. The location is great and you can walk to many attractions.

Loved the view of temple square tight from my room

We have stayed at this hotel for forty years. I realize that prices have gone up, but the rate we had to pay for our room, the night of the Elton John concert was excessive. The crowning glory, however was the $19 we had to pay to park our car. You would think that the $424 room charge would cover that. Staff were very nice.

Location and staff are great. The rooms are slightly dated.

Staff at the reception and restaurant were welcoming and warm.

So, after paying $200+ dollars per night for this place, they still charged me $19 a day to park in their very dirty parking garage. The overall service was good, but they forgot to put garbage bags in our room. I'm thinking next time I stay in this area, it'll be at the Hilton down the road.

Water was shut off during one of the days - was only given notice at checkin. Was only given option for a different room with different bed setup on a lower floor for the entire stay. I chose to keep the room and was told I could use the shower in the gym area or pool. I chose to go off site and shop. Breakfast buffet lacks flavor for the price - go with menu. Toilet in room constantly was hanging up. Room was stuffy —9th floor— thermostat adjustment didn’t help. Maintenance man came only to say that there’s no ac now in the building and if I wanted it cooler in the room —under 72 it was stuck on— then I have to crack a window. Which worked —thankfully they have chins to keep you from opening so far.

Very convenient location. Nice staff. Comfortable beds. Carpet in the hotel could use some updating. A little circa 1989.

Great location, great staff very friendly! Gave ideas of what to do.

I booked hotel with 2 queen beds and breafast. When checked in I received 1 king bad (changed on my request to 2 queen beds) and the next day I wasn’t allowed to eat breakfast. The hotel receptionist told me that they do not have continental breakfast and didn’t offer me the breakfast I had paid for it. I will contact you on this issue because it was the first time the hotel didn’t deliver me the service I booked for with Orbitz.

There was no fan in the bathroom. Or the fan did not work. Also discolloration above the shower.

Spent 3 nights, great hotel for business or pleasure

the room was flea infested and when i addressed it to the lobby his response was too casual and i did not feel he made a effort to accommodate me

The hotel is located across the street from the visitor center and next door to Nordstrom at City Creek Mall. Within walking distance to great restaurants, museum, etc. The hotel staff were friendly. Starbucks in the lobby. just disappointed in the price of parking at the hotel... thought it should be included or at least be a little less expensive. The woman checking me in could have been more informative about location of fitness/pool etc.

The hotel its self was very nice. The bathrooms were about normal for hotel bathrooms, the beds were good. The movies and TV selection were not so good. Standard definition video? No menu to look up what is playing? I know it was some kind of cable or satellite, but most of those services these days have a menu. Otherwise hotel is great.
