Very friendly host welcomes you to an authentic stay at a great place. Space for children to run, washing machine available, and all the windows have mosquito nets. Great stay.

Very nice experience

We had a very good experience at Gabriele's place, the apartment is large, comfortable, quiet and fresh despite the hot August weather, it's easy to join all the interesting places around the lake. We were just a little bit disappointed because of the mosquitos in the beautiful garden...

Very nice place in a very nice setting

The property is partially renovated beautiful old farm house with a specific charm in the middle of the olive groves. Its seclusion and oldtimes atmosphere makes you forget the rustle and bustle of the turistic towns in the neighbourhoud where you can go for a good meal or drink or just to enjoy a stroll on the lakeside promenade. The lake is very beautiful with nice pebble beaches and clear water. In June there wasn´t too many people so it was perfect. The host Gabriele is very helpful and accommodating, speaks spotless English and makes wonderful olive oil and wine. We definitely recommend all of it.

We really enjoyed!!!

We really enjoyed our time. It was a nice, calm and cosy apartment. As a young family we relaxed a lot. The appartment was clean, a kitchen with all stuff you Need. The surrounding was really beautiful, and we loved the typical Italian Atmosphere. The Owner Gabriele was really gentle and always helpful!!! We highly recommend the accommodation!!! And you have to try the selfmade Olive oil!!!! Its a Must!

Great place to stay!

We had a very pleasant stay for a week in this spacious, nicely done up appartement - we enjoyed especially the beautiful, enchanted garden. Mr. Gabriele Bonù is a very friendly & helpful host. The city of Saló and different beaches (e.g. of S. Felice - perfect for swimming) can be reached within minutes by car. If you have no problems with a little traffic noise, we can absolutley recommend this beautiful and special place. (And don´t miss the chance to buy some of Mr. Bonú´s olive oil, it´s really delicious.)

Erholsamer Urlaub in schöner Lage

Wir (2 Erwachsene + 15-jähriger Sohn + Hund) haben 10 entspannte Tage in der großen Wohnung verbracht. Gabriele ist ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist mit allem, was man braucht ausgestattet. Der verwunschene Garten lädt zum Vermeilen ein. Mit dem Auto hat man schnell den See erreicht (z.B. Porto Portese mit dem schönen Hundestrand oder Salò).

Tranquillità allo stato puro

Proprietari gentilissimi ci hanno accolto con molto garbo offrendoci anche delle loro verdure di stagione molto buone ..noi siamo arrivati con 2 cani che si sono adattati immediatamente. Abbiamo assaggiato l' olio di loro produzione Buonissimo . La cascina si trova a pochi passi da Salò e Manerba, immersa nel silenzio. Penso proprio che il prossimo anno ritornerò da loro sperando di poter trascorrere almeno 2 settimane di ferie. Ringrazio calorosamente la famiglia Bonu e spero di poterli rivedere il prossimo anno

Echt italienisch - fantastisch

Dieser Urlaub am Gardasee war fantastisch - die Unterkunft liegt in der Natur und gleichzeitig sehr zentral. Sie ist mit einer sehr großen Küche (25-30 qm) ausgestattet, die einen Gasherd mit Elektro-Backofen, ein etwa 1m breites Marmorwaschbecken und einen komplett raumhoch abtrennbaren Schlafbereich hat, der wie ein separates Zimmer fungiert. Dazu gibt es noch ein großes Schlaf-Wohnzimmer mit TV (auch deutsche Sender :)). Alle Fenster haben eine Jalousie aus Fliegengitter, man kann problemlos die Fenster öffnen, keine Mücke kommt herein. Und dann haben alle Fenster noch Holzläden, sodass es - auch dank der dicken Außenwände - angenehm kühl in den Räumen bleibt. Im Garten stehen ein großer Holzkohlegrill, Liegestühle, Sitzecken zur Verfügung. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 5 min entfernt, hat 24/7 offen und sogar einen Frischfischtresen. Der nächste Strand ist Port Portese (5 km) - dort kann man auch angeln. Zum Schwimmen sind wir nach Port Felice (7 km) gefahren, weil dort die Parkplätze direkt an der Strandpromenade sind und dort schattenspendende Bäume stehen (wir sind sehr hellhäutig). Ausflüge haben wir viele gemacht, hier ein paar Highlights: 1) Isola del Garda, von Port Portese mit dem Schiff, Führung und Olivenöl-Probe inklusive. Das Olivenöl vom Hof Bonu ist übrigens viel besser - milder und leckerer, 2) Salo - ein sehr gutes Museum, Kopfhörer in der jeweiligen Landessprache usw, und zumindest donnerstags als wir da waren, Livemusik in den Gassen 3) Lago d'Idra - ein kalter Bergsee - fast bayrisch :) Dazu hat Herr Bonu uns mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus eigener Herstellung überrascht - wir hatten Pfirsiche, Salate, Tomaten und Kartoffeln - frisch geerntet - lecker! Das nächste Mal würden wir länger als 7 Tage bleiben - die Lage und die Unterkunft sind fantastisch!

Echt italienisch - fantastisch

Wir waren 7 Tage auf dem Bauernhof - es war fantastisch. Der Hof ist ein aktiver kleiner Bauernhof, die Unterkunft bleibt angenehm temperiert dank dicker Mauern, ist groß und hat ein paar Highlights: Jedes Fenster hat als Jalousie einen Insektenschutz, dazu Holzläden, die für Kühle tagsüber sorgen. Die Küche ist riesig, 25 - 30 qm, hat ein etwa 1 Meter breites Marmor-Waschbecken und - da wir unsere erwachsene Tochter dabei hatten - einen integrierten Gästeraum. Dieser wird mit raumhohen Schiebetüren abgetrennt - perfekt! Der Gastgeber hat uns mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus eigener Ernte versorgt (Pfirsich, Salat, Tomaten, Kartoffeln) und wir haben eine Olivenöl-Kostprobe erhalten - lecker. Draußen gibt es einen verwunschenen Garten mit Liegestühlen, Grill, Sitzecken - alles vor einer schönen Kulisse. Auch Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer sind da. Die Lage ist super - hier ein paar unserer Empfehlungen: Strand ist ganz nah, in Port Portese (dort kann man auch angeln) oder in Port Felice (dort stehen Bäume, also ist auch Schatten da :)), Ausflüge zur Isola del Garda (von Portese) - dort haben wir u.a. eine Olivenöl-Probe gemacht, und das von Gabriele Bonu ist deutlich besser :), Salo - dort gibt es ein gutes Museum und wir haben dort donnerstags super Livemusik bis abends in den Gassen gehört, und der Lago d'Idro - fast ein bayrischer Bergsee. Der 24/7 Supermarkt ist etwa 5 min entfernt - dort gibt es alles, Frischfisch usw. Kurz gesagt: Wir würden nächstesmal länger bleiben!

Immersa nel verde, a due passi da tutto.

Antica cascina del 17° secolo ben ristrutturata e funzionale. Tranquilla perchè isolata nel verde ma al contempo vicina a tutti i servizi (ottimi ristoranti, negozi di alimentari ed ovviamente le spiagge del lago). I proprietari della cascina, oltre ad essere particolarmente gentili e disponibili, sono anche produttori di ottimi olii che sarà possibile degustare ed acquistare. E' possibile parcheggiare la propria auto nel cortile interno della cascina, ben protetto da un cancello automatico. Si consiglia l'uso della macchina per muoversi (o quantomeno bici o motorino)
