The entire place is gated which I appreciate it, the rooms appeared newly remodeled so that was nice. Overall, even for being next to the Highway our stay was good. Staff was friendly when checking in and the room was cozy.

It is a motel6 so bare-bones (no hairdryer)…but the room interior was clean and everything worked. Had a better cable tv selection than a recent stay I had at a highish end Marriott! No real transit connections but was a short ($10) Lyft ride into downtown Sacramento.

The room #118 was in the back and parking was to the side; different with all parking area fenced off for security and automatic gates. Room was good but no coffee maker present, which is okay. Big problem was no shower mat or rough surfaces in shower and slipped twice but caught myself to prevent accident. Shower not safe for older adults for sure.

It was exactly what you would expect of a Motel 6, though I was also pleasantly surprised about the gated parking. This was critical since we were moving my son to LA and had a car full of his belongings. If you're trying to get in and out, the location is perfefct--next to a gas station and near a McDonald's for a quick breakfast. Being right next to I-5 is both convenient and very loud at night.
