Incredible Property!

An incredible property with great location and views. We are a family of 8 and the beautiful house was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We felt very safe & welcomed in Lighthouse point neighborhood as well were able to walk to dive shop, restaurants and shops in West End. The Property manager, Tasha, was incredible to work with. She helped us with finding a dive shop, grocery delivery, restaurant reservations and transportation. Tasha and her staff were beyond helpful. Such a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

Avoid! We had RODENTS in the house, Mgt & owner only cared to seriously take action AFTER our stay.

We rented this property based on outstanding online reviews from July 26-30, 2023. We were happy for that afternoon after check in… however, at 11pm we discovered we were sharing the property with RODENTS. We immediately messaged mgt., no response. Mgt. response next day at 10am was “ohh no I will advice maintenance.” Contrary to what one would expect elsewhere (where mgt. would immediately take action & consider this a health hazard especially knowing we had kids incl. 1 toddler with us & that this issue would not take a day to solve) the property mgt. did not offer an option to move elsewhere or refund our money. They argued they have a pest control contract (which does not treat for rodents unless spotted). Pest control came later that morning to set up sticky traps that did not work at all, said there could be more than one & this would take days. Mgt. did not seem worried about us despite complaints (we paid ahead obviously) while we freaked out constantly cleaning & disinfecting; storing counter & cabinet food in garbage bags to protect ourselves from catching a disease. We stressed and wasted precious time, we killed one mouse on our 3rd day, we spotted another one the following night. Mgt.was informed and continued to be unalarmed offering plain sorries. Mgt. did not show up at set time for handover. Owner offered 1k discount on our “NEXT” stay though felt we exaggerated; yet closed house AFTER we left for rodent control. Worst experience & not trustworthy.

Best yet!

I've been to Roatan quite a few times and have always stayed at different places. This is one of the largest rental villas near the West Bay and was a fantastic place for my group. The adult bunk room allowed me to bring some friends who didn't require their own room and were just happy to be in the Caribbean, increasing the size of our group since it's hard to find any villas with more than 5 bedrooms. The pool was fantastic, with a great deep end, and allowed us to work on our diving skills before we hit the ocean. There are always smaller things that happen on islands (the ice maker wasn't working, etc), but the mgmt company had good communication (via Whatsapp) and solved issues quickly (like bringing us bags of ice). Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we return to Roatan!

AMAZING house with breathtaking views!

My family & I rented Casa del Sol & it truly exceeded our expectations! The house is BEAUTIFUL! When you walk in, the ocean view from the windows takes your breath away. The house is large, spacious and comfortably accommodates large groups. The rooms are spacious and have large full bathroooms attached to them. The room with the bunk beds has the smallest bathroom however it’s a full bathroom that guests can use. The kitchen, dining and living room area are all large and well furnished. The backyard is breath taking!! There is no beach access from the house but there is a deck overlooking the ocean in the backyard. There is also an apartment attached to the house for additional guests. The apartment is not accessible from inside the house. We are so glad we rented this house for our vacation! Highly recommend!
