Hotel and rooms are clean- hotel is under construction of remodel. Beds and pillows are in need of upgrade - location is very convenient. Staff is very friendly.

Where do I start?! I told my boyfriend this place was awesome, the people were nice and it was just an all around great place…of course the last time I was there was 11 years ago. First, the lobby/breakfast area stunk sooo bad of paint - you’d think they would be worried about making people sick from paint fumes. Now, on to the room — the bed was horrible…one side basically had a hole dug in it big enough to lay in. The windows look like they hadn’t been washed in years and up in the corner by the window, there were chunks of paint or wood just ready to fall off. The curtains themselves have apparently been there since I stayed 11 years ago. They had, moth holes (?) maybe all over them so you could see dots of light all over the curtain. The room did look like it had been painted but I looked at one of the pictures on the wall and y’all…they. painted. around. it. Who does that?! Apparently they plan on that picture staying there for the next 11 years. THEN let me get to the towels…the towels were so old, they had holes in them and strings hanging loose on the corners. Can’t make this up. I can’t even say that the staff made up for everything else, because they were basically non existent. You mostly didn’t see them, and the ones we did see didn’t speak to us…except one nice housekeeping lady that said hi to us. Also, if you want hot breakfast, you can warm up a microwave breakfast sandwich that are complimentary. Never again…this place had fairly good reviews.

Breakfast was a nice touch with some options and enjoyed the waffles. Liked the healthy options like yogurt and fresh fruit. Overall the place is cute but older. My room smelled a little musty and stale. The hot tub was broken which was disappointing because I was looking forward to it. the attendant said they would fix it but nothing got fixed. Otherwise the staff was nice and pleasant.

This is one of those aged motels being bought by a family who truly cares about the property. It was inexpensive but had an 8+ rating; and deserves it. Super kind family and super clean and comfortable room.

It was nice and clean. Housekeeper was very friendly and did a fantastic job..Kept us supplied with fresh clean towels for our 4day stay. Breakfast was ok normal stuff,toast muffins waffles etc.

The hot tub was ice cold, I was told they checked at 9 am and it was hot, 6 hours later I stuck my foot in and almost had a heart attack, it was frigid. Owner was nice enough to refund my money, and I found lodging and hot tub elsewhere.

10/10, exceeded expectations! My husband and I stayed here lastnight and we had a great experience. The room was spacious, clean, and we both slept well despite the close proximity to the highway: we didn’t hear any road noise as some customers complained about. FYI, there are several unsatisfactory comments bellow ours and let me just say, it seems like the owner has listened to the complaints and has done a good job addressing those to make this hotel better. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be staying here again!
