This was our third time in Eleuthera and we’ve stayed somewhere different every year. By far, this was our favorite place we’ve stayed and we booked it for the following year before we left. The location in Rainbow Bay is central to all the things we want - primarily a variety of beaches and restaurants. The view from the house is unmatched. The outdoor space and seating areas are so well thought out, and it’s pure luxury to have the steps carved into the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer was an extra perk for an extended stay. The beach chairs are in great shape and exactly what we hoped for (we’ve stayed somewhere else that advertised this and they were unusable). Hosts are super responsive and give lots of information to support- especially if it’s your first time visiting Eleuthera. We are already counting the days until we can go back.

The salty coconut had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. With the comfortable outdoor furniture we had days of total relaxation just sitting and enjoying the weather and the views. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Best Rental Ever!!

It's really hard to encapsulate just how fantastic this rental is. They truly have thought of everything. From the kitchen appliances, spices on hand, great AC, internet w/ Starlink, TV, very comfortable bed, gas stove and propane grill, it's all here. They even have a copy of "The Beach Book' on hand which maps out all the must see beaches. When you unlock the door and step inside it's going to take your breath away because the pictures online don't begin to do it justice. It's so much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The panoramic view of the ocean is awe inspiring. The deck outside is so nice with so many different types of seating as you work your way down to the water. So much to see and do on the island, but if you wanted to stay at the Salty Coconut you would never really have to leave. We loved having the snorkeling equipment there. We would snorkel right out back and saw many beautiful tropical fish and even a sea turtle who would appear every morning. It's so close to Rainbow Bay Beach which is just wonderful. You can wade out into the crystal clear water for what seems like forever. This island is incredible. We were awestruck by the beauty and total solitude of the beaches we explored. We want to come back and when we do we will be staying here again, no question. Don't hesitate, don't look elsewhere. Book this property for the vacation of a lifetime!!

Simply amazing

Our stay at the Salty Coconut was nothing short of amazing! It is a very comfortable and cute little cottage with everything we needed to make our week-long stay on Eleuthera one of the best vacations we have ever had. I cannot say enough about the location; every day we were greeted by sea turtles that we would just watch from the comfort of the deck lounge chairs, and we spent quite some time snorkeling of in front of the property where we saw multiple rays, turtles, crabs, a lobster, and many beautiful fish. The best night was when we were sitting on the deck after dark, just watching all the stars in the sky, when suddenly the sea started flashing with blue lights. We quickly went down to the rock point and saw little jelly fish bobbing and lighting up the sea. That only happened one night, so we felt so fortunate to have seen them. We loved this house so much and are already planning our return visit!

Beautiful and comfortable!

My fiancé and I had such a wonderful stay at the Salty Coconut! The proximity to Rainbow beach was incredible. Decent snorkeling and the water is so clam you can just float. The house was very clean and had everything you needed. Mike and Kate were very helpful and readily available if needed! Our favorite was the sea turtles who hung out around the point all day long. Eleuthera is beautiful and this house makes it even better.

Perfect Vacation Getaway

We cannot say enough good things about the Salty Coconut. What an amazing place. We had a hard time every day deciding if we wanted to go exploring, or if we wanted to stay at this fantastic location. We will be rebooking for next year. Thanks to Mike and Kate for truly creating the perfect place!

Perfect Getaway!!

Salty Coconut was an amazing home! We really enjoyed our time there. Mike and Kate were so helpful and made our first trip to Eleuthera easy. The house is perfect, amazing views, private, and has everything you need. The porch and decks are where we spent most of our time, listening to music, enjoying a cocktail, and floating in the Caribbean water. This trip was exactly what we needed and we will definitely be back!!

Salty Coconut Second Time

We enjoyed our stay at Salty Coconut immensely. It was our second visit so clearly we very much like it. A beautiful location and facility. The facility is a little small but perfect for two people. Much privacy and tranquility. Highly recommended. We will return.

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here for a little over a week. The location is amazing! We pretty much stayed at the house as we could do most of what we wanted during our stay, snorkeling and fishing right out the front of the house. We did wander down to Rainbow Bay beach a few times, and this was wonderful. Very calm waters, clean beach and few people. Grocery and liquor stores were nearby, as well as a few places to eat on the occasion we didn't feel like cooking. The house was unbelievably well stocked and very clean. The owners thought of everything that a visitor may need. We rented a car from the home's local caretaker Laura, and this was great. Picked up the vehicle at the airport, which is where we returned it as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back in the near future.

Everything and More.

Not the greatest weather upon arrival but as soon as the sea calmed, this place was everything and more of what the pictures depicted. Centrally located on the island allowing you to travel easily to the north and south and not spending an entire day in the car. The house was full of useful accessories (snorkel gear, floats, coolers) to go enjoy the island and all of the beaches nearby. The house was also extremely clean and was a wonderful retreat from some of the warmer days with its available ac. Be sure to keep your eye on the water for “Herman” the sea turtle as he regularly visited the cove in calm water. The salty coconut made our trip as memorable as it was and will always have a place in our hearts.

Great location, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, relaxing

We enjoyed our stay! The location was fantastic and the people we met were welcoming. We loved seeing the sea turtles each day and my husband enjoyed snorkeling from the stairs. We were able to visit multiple beaches due to the central proximity of the house.

Fabulous stay

Super private piece of oceanfront heaven ! Extremely clean home with everything you need whether staying in or enjoying the nearby beaches- rainbow bay beach is around corner and stunning. Watching the kaleidoscope of stars at night was nothing short of spectacular as well as snorkeling the caves and shoreline in front of house. Would stay again.
