SLS has an excellent concierge service for those staying at the Elite section. Jazmín and May were simply amazing. All the restaurant hosts, bell boys and valet, and the rest of the staff were always happy and very open to help in any way possible.
The adults only Twiggy restaurant is their most coveted, well-kept secret. We had lunch every day there and the menu and Chef are simply spectacular, and I’m not exaggerating. Osvaldo, Alondra, David, Josué and Finn made sure we had one of the best holiday weeks of recent years. As for other restaurants, Union really deserves high-praise as well as the perfect and amazing service delivered by our experienced waiter Jonás.
On the down side, water temperature at all the pools were extremely cold so most people preferred to remain outside of them. Not even the pool jacuzzis had a nice temperature so we couldn’t enjoyed water activities as we should. As most of the rooms lack a jacuzzi or bathtub, it is necessary to keep the pools at a good temperature, specially when the weather and season are not too favorable.
Another downside was the spa high prices. It seems that the spa is an outside business concession not directly managed by the hotel because of their lack of promotions or even willingness to sell / negotiate at all.
Also the Asian restaurant was really bad in all respects, it needs a complete overhaul ( Chef, menu and staff ), specially because we saw many guests from Asia.
