Everything was perfect!… Except the wifi in our room couldn’t connect. Fortunately we were right under the pool floor and could use the pool wifi when out on our balcony. If I had to suggest one change it would be to put felt underneath the kitchen chair legs as they make a racket that can be heard in other rooms. In general aside from what’s mentioned, you can’t really hear any noise from outside your room though. If you are wondering if you should splurge for the ocean view it is 100% worth it as you won’t be staring at the building across the street and the ocean and pier view is spectacular. This is a luxury condo and is worthy of the high reviews.

V Azul is a 12 unit building in the Romantic Zone. Our room was on the first floor street-side; rooms above us have ocean views. We liked that it had a small eat-in kitchen- we didn’t cook, but we did make sandwiches and cereal. The condo had a small sitting area with TV, which could be watched from the king size bed when the pocket doors to the living room were open. The living area and bedroom had sliders to a small balcony overlooking the street with a table and two chairs, which we enjoyed in the morning. The bath had a big vanity and shower- just be careful, as the tile outside the shower can get slippery (the tile inside the shower is fine). The roof has a pool and barbeque area- we took advantage of the pool many days after time at the beach. V Azul is close to the bars and restaurants on Los Muertos Beach, and a short walk to the restaurants on Basillo Badillo. It is a small climb to the building, and as always, be careful on beach stone roads. The front desk is often staffed with helpful, friendly people This was our second stay at V Azul- and we would definitely consider another stay!

This was an amazing place to stay. The room was spacious and very clean, and has a washer and dryer in the room with laundry detergent provided for free. There were free drinks provided in the fridge as well. The place is a two minute walk if that to the beach. The lady at the reception was so friendly and personally took us to our room to ensure everything was to our liking. We definitely will be returning to this amazing vacation getaway.

Number one, the staff was so nice! The place was very clean and it has a lot of space. Having a fridge, a kitchen, a washer and dryer when you travel makes a huge difference. It was in a great area near many restaurants and very close to the beach. I would definitely stay there again and again!

It was a well equipped unit with a king bed, large bathroom with a walkin shower, laundry in unit, full kitchen, and close to everything in the romantic zone with a small rooftop pool. The living room area was tiny with a small TV and worn sofa that was probably a sleeper. The area has many hills with few sidewalks and would be prohibitive for anyone needing accessibility accommodations.

Very pleased with our stay. The room was clean, upgraded (remodeled) and the hotel was safe. It’s fairly close to the beach and main street for eating. It’s up a hill, on cobble street, so be ready for that.

We normally stay at a full service resort, and tried this option this visit. It was great. Smaller, quieter and more flexible for a longer stay. The rooftop made you feel you had a private pool and BBQ area all to yourself. Would definitely recommend. The only downside was not having full service. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, very near the beachfront and great restaurants but not in the middle of the action so relatively quiet-er. Room was rather cramped if more than 2 pax are staying, and some features could be better (bed was rather too firm and hard, pillows too soft and hollow). WIFI in my room wasn't activated/working during my entire 6 days stay, though they tried to have it fixed but on a day that I had a scheduled tour - so was just asked to connect to adjacent room's WIFI. Streaming/Netflix WASN'T AVAILABLE during 6 days and was told that the TV in my room wasnt compatible, so was forced to spend as much time outside the room since you couldn't do much inside without streaming service/netflix. For the nightly price they charge, room cleaning should have already been included and issues resolved timely and appropriately.
