Great experience

It was clean and welcoming. The space inside was a lot more than I thought it would be. The host, Russell, was so responsive to anything we needed. We will definitely stay there again.

Very Comfortable

Unique second floor cottage Fully equipped Very comfortable As I am 75 I should mention to those in my age range, there is a steep 18 step stairway that was a challenge for me to carry luggage

Wonderful

It’s an adorable little place. Great on privacy. Clean. Nicely decorated. Huge comfortable bed. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Parking right by the door. Cute deck. Easy check in. Will be booking with them again.

Thanksgiving Get Together with my Daughters

We flew in from California. Had a struggle with car rental details and phone technology on our way in to St. John's. We were arriving late, and stress was high. I called the host directly and immediately felt better! He assured a new passcode was available for entry and allowed us to have a nice stay. The place is wonderful, well equipped, beautiful natural light. Love it and will return as we visit the girls often. The oldest daughter just moved into this area from SE Center Street area so we have found a new perfect stay!

Great stay, lots of amenities

Russell’s property is very cute, well stocked with spices and toiletries, and clean. The beds are very comfortable, including the pull out sofa sleeper. Russell was very easy and quick to communicate with and I plan on staying here again the next time I take a trip with friends to Portland.

Sketchy neighborhood. Not very clean property

Neighborhood has lots of people who like to roar around in their loud vehicles. Didn't feel safe there. Dead spider in shower that had obviously been there for awhile. Crumbs and greasy smears left on dining table and chairs had me questioning the cleanliness of the property. Would definitely not stay there again.

The rental was as described and clean with extra food and amenities in the kitchen. We went with an older couple, which made the stairs a little difficult since the bathroom is upstairs.

St. Johns visit

Really cute unit in a terrific neighborhood. Clean and tidy, comfy bed and plenty of towels. Had a great stay for several nights. Needed to contact the host a couple of times but had a prompt response and issues were quickly resolved. Kitchen could use a few food storage containers and things like plastic wrap, foil and/or baggies; maybe a couple of serving dishes or large bowls too…otherwise it was nicely furnished. Only suggestion I would make for the host is to leave a notebook with instructions on how to operate the heating/cooling units and the TV system. We needed help with both (and Russ was really responsive). Really nice location and great restaurants close by if you don’t feel like cooking. Would definitely stay again.

All amenities in a beautiful location

I thought the place was authentic to the listing and offered many amenities, the attention to detail was appreciated! Many bathroom items are offered, food supplies, cleanliness, disc golfs, your own parking, and cool lighting in the bedroom. Also, the rental is close to the beautiful Pier Park, within walking distance away. The home owner is thoughtful and accomodating, was quick to respond to my messages.

Very well stocked

Everything you need is here including coffee. Loved sitting out on deck. Very clean and better stocked than anywhere I’ve been. It’s close to water falls and airport. It’s about location.
