The rooms were clean and updated. The hotel itself needs some work done. When we stayed there the ocean was covered in Seaweed there was no where to swim by the resort so we always walked to another side by a different resort to swim in the ocean. The activity team by the pool were the best. Chocolate David , Carlos and the ladies. They made it fun and enjoyable. It was the best part of the trip. The restaurant food was pretty good and good service.

The staff was friendly and the place was always clean. Food was superb buffet was fresh and the dinners at night were great. They had some evening shows by the pool and some live music at night to listen to. The ocean was only a short walk around the corner (approx 2 min.) and shopping downtown was right down the street.

The staff are EXCELLENT and VERY attentive. Note the "standard room" HAS NO WINDOW and no balcony. You're literally in a closet, which is NOT clear on the room photos in the listing. I think it's a scam to get you to upgrade and pay extra (which we did). The location was great and convenient. Check in/out was easy and fast.

Wonderful and attentive staff - they clearly enjoy what they do! Oceanfront room was fabulous! A-la-carte restaurants were very good - excellent meals. Buffet got repetitive but food was generally good and always plentiful. Beach is rocky, but if you simply want to sit on the beach and hear the waves, it's as good as any!

Our oceanfront room was beautiful. We stayed toward the north end and could open the sliding door and hear the ocean. Beach was small and mostly rocky. The staff was extremely friendly. Older crowd during the week gave way to a somewhat younger crowd towards the weekend. Organized activities at the pool. NO drinks prior to 10 am. Very disappointed no mimosas/bloody Mary's at breakfast. Bar/activities closed at 11. There were some down the street off the resort. Spa was nice and reasonably priced. Steakhouse restaurant was very good. Lobster was extra but well worth it. Mexican restaurant was average. The buffet was good but pretty much had the exact same thing daily. Resort is about 45 minutes from Airport-you need a private car or you waste almost 2 resort days on group airport transfer. Good resort for a generally relaxing but not necessarily party vacation

The staff went above and beyond with every little thing! The rooms were extremely clean, the food was very good, so much to do there! i couldn’t stress enough how i recommend staying with them. Jesus and Sabastian were outstanding along with the rest of the team:)

Loved the staff, loved the food, room was great would definitely go back! Only downside the pool was so cold and there is not much beach.
