The staff was curtious, the room was clean, good value. There were mechanical issues in our room with electrical and the tv. The outlet behind the bed was half hanging out of the wall and the outlet on the light fixture next to the bed sparked and was loose. The cable box in our room didn't work and the girl at the front desk didn't know how to fix it. When we checked out I told the young gentleman at the front desk, he said it was because contractors stay in rooms for extended periods and bring gaming systems to hook up to tv. When they do this they change the tv input. If this is a widely known problem then all employees should be trained on how to fix it.
Breakfast was ok. The eggs and sausage where frozen items warmed up in the microwave so it was rubbery and greasy. The waffles were good.
The water pressure was good. Thankful that they are pet friendly for big dogs, however the staff that works nights need to remember to not talk loud on the phone in the hallways at night or early morning. Our room was right across from housekeeping area and staff would talk loud in hallway on the phones which then caused our dogs to bark in the middle of night.
When we checked into our room the heat was set on 80 and it was ridiculously hot in there. We immediately turned off the heat and opened a window. The whole time we were there it was in 40's and 50's during the day (in December) we never ran the heat because it was so hot in rest of hotel which heated our room.
