I booked this hotel due to the close proximity to the Salt River. The first day we got there after flying 5 hours, they didn't have a room ready for us. Serena didn't know when our room would be ready. Check in is at 4, we arrived at 4:15. We went for a drive, came back at 6 and still no room. At that point, being tired and hungry and wanting to freshen up, we stated that we didn't understand why we didn't have a room. Serena became very flip-pent with us. I asked if it was a staffing issue and she said I told you that was the problem. My husband and I never heard her tell us that. Both of us being in management, we would have understood the problem and continued to wait. However, when asked if we could talk to a manager, she said, you sure can. Ok, is that person here. No. How about tomorrow? Yes. What time? I don't know. We finally got a room just before seven pm. They put us on the second floor street side with all the traffic. The place is clean but I have nothing else to say about it. Go to another area of Mesa for your stay.

This was just a perfect riom and stay. In fact we are still here and had to extend our stay for four more days ! It is quiet ,clean,comfortable (the bed is extremely comfortable ) and has beaitidul clean grounds. It’s in a lovely location with a grocery store within a mile. Just overall exceptional !

This was my third stay at Westgate Painted Mountain in Mesa Arizona and I'm planning another stay here in a couple of months. I absolutely love the place. The facility is beyond any expectations and the staff are incomparable. The manager, Esteban, reflects the great customer service that Westgate is known for as do all of his staff! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone traveling to the Mesa area

The room was clean and the bed comfy. The ceiling fan was extremely loud (bearing noise) and the TV cable service you use is horrible. No TV guide, more commercials than shows (really, I timed them). Heck, Live TV has better options and less comercials than the cable provider you use. As a "resort" I would of expected better.
