The staff was very friendly and attentive when checking in and the lobby was very nice. The room was also very clean. Comfortable bed, wish there was extra blankets because that particular night was very cold. The room heater was nice though and heated the room nicely. Only thing that was disappointing was that the walls were thin and people next door were arguing one morning.

The staff was courteous, but the room temperature controls were not operable and it was freezing. When we asked about turning the temperature up (It felt like it was 55 degrees) when the thermostat was saying 80 - they said they have to send someone in to go up in the ceiling and switch it to heat. We didn't want the heat on, we just wanted the room at about 67-68 degrees similar to the outside temperature during the day. Also, the tub drained so slowly that by the end of a shower, you were ankle deep in water. It smelled a little mold/musty in the bathroom and the hallways had a strong cigarette smoke smell, not what I'm used to staying at a Marriot but maybe when it's a Delta Hotel by Marriott that makes the difference vs. a Marriott property?

The staff were very helpful and accommodating! When I mentioned at check-in that I wasn't sure how my puppy would do in the elevator, they put us in a ground floor room right near the side door. It was a great spot for us, with grass nearby for our walks.
