What a beautiful stay wehad

We had a lovely stay in Nicky and Peter’s place. We had everything we needed there. The tennis court surrounded by the woods was beautiful. We highly recommend this place.

Nicky and Peter introduced themselves and answered all our questions. There are sweet outdoor spaces with great views. It's cosy and the one-track road makes you feel right out in the country.

Excellent base for lovely break

The Old Stables provided an excellent base for a few days in this lovely part of the UK. The accommodation was just as described and hosts Nicky and Peter were very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was a nice addition and we would not hesitate to recommend the Old Stables to anybody thinking of booking it.

Great place and location

We would highly recommend this place. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is lovely and the location is absolutely beautiful - if you like quiet and rural. It’s very well equipped, very clean, and thoughtfully designed and laid out. We enjoyed going for walks and playing tennis on the owners court. There were lots of lovely welcoming touches waiting for us when we arrived.

Cosy cottage in wonderfull location

West Sussex’s Best

This lovely cottage was just what the four of us needed. Located down a lovely country lane, the Stables is close to many attractions-and good pubs. The kitchen is well-appointed, with sn excellent coffee maker! This is perfect for those who love the English countryside. Our hosts, Nicky and Peter, were most welcoming and helpful.

A lovely Christmas Stay!

We spent 5 nights at the Old Stables to be close to family over the Christmas period. The Old Stables is lovely; well presented, comfortable and had everything we needed to host a small family Christmas lunch. The owners were very accommodating and were on hand to help with any additional requirements (such as an extra dining chair!) There was a generous welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, especially during the summer as the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Lovely Cottage

This cottage had 2 double bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. It was very comfortable ,clean and well equipped. The weather was warm and sunny so we made a lot of use of outdoor seating area to relax and dine. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The surrounding area is so peaceful, with lots of trees. The South Downs is nearby, as are several gardens and stately homes to visit. We had a wonderful relaxing week. Thank you.

Beautiful West Sussex Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at the Old Stables in West Sussex. The cottage was beautiful. Very well equipped and Nicky and Peter were the perfect hosts. The welcome basket including butter, eggs, bread and a bottle of red was very much appreciated after our long journey. The location is excellent for exploring the surrounding villages and trying out the top class local pubs. Nicky and Peter have prepared a tourist brochure for the cottage and we were not disappointed by their recommendations of places to visit: Midhurst, Petworth, Amberley, Arundel...to name but a few. The cottage has a lovely terrace garden, which we enjoyed for dinner and after-dinner board games. I would very highly recommend this accommodation.
