We brought our bikes on our vacation and it was very nice that the hotel would store them. The room was lovely; somehow we got an upgrade which was a nice surprise. The garden was a beautiful place to watch the evening sunsets. The wait staff for breakfast were amazing, friendly and top notch. When we first arrived at the hotel we chose to stay close and eat dinner downstairs at the Pub. There was one waitress that did not live up to the usual standards of the hotel. It left a poor first impression, but the rest of our stay was amazing!

The management and staff delivered exceptional service, truly standing among the best in the hospitality industry. Just a few hundred feet away lies what I consider one of the finest downtowns and shopping districts in the Midwest. Take in the pure freshness of lake breezes as you relax outdoors with a new book from McLean & Eakin Bookstore. Stroll up Lake Street to Summit Street, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Petoskey from high above. By your last day, you’ll likely find yourself planning your return — perhaps even booking a stay at Stafford’s Bay View Inn, as we have for next year. Whichever you choose, you’ll be treated to the timeless elegance of graceful living.

While I love the area of the Perry Hotel, I do find it to be a bit overpriced for what is included. The rooms are small and there is not much to the property. They do give each guest a $12.50 breakfast pass, but there are limited vegetarian and vegan options. Overall, good location and views, but not worth price.
