We’ve stayed here now twice, was disappointed that buffet breakfast was discontinued. Rooms are charming and clean but desperately need woodwork care. Bathroom wood was rotting under the paint.

Our room was tiny! There was hardly 18” around the bed. You could barely turn around in the bathroom. If you were a large person, you never would have fit in the shower. And lastly the mattress was TOO soft and the tv did not work as it should. Not sure we’ll return.

This inn is kinda away from the city and shopping. If you want a historical hotel with older features this is it. We did enjoy our stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I have never stayed at a quieter hotel. It was lovely. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The lack of an elevator was troublesome as we were on the third floor. Parking on the street was inconvenient.

Bay View, the neighborhood it is has been around since 1875 and all the little homes are beautifully decorated. We’ve never seen anything like it.

When we arrived and walked around we we felt we had been at the inn before. It seemed very familiar. When we got home our daughter reminded us that that was where she got married 30 years ago. It brought back memories of her and her, then, fiance arriving by horse drawn carriage on the street below. They walked up the the long walk and the many stairs to the porch where the ceremony was held. The reception was held in the dining room. Most of the friends, family, and guests stayed in the inn. Both the inn and the marriage have held up well over the last 30 years.

I was double billed for two rooms and had only reserved one. Terrace Inn refused to address the issue. I arrived at the Inn shortly after 9 pm to find no clerk or staff on duty at the desk and an envelope on the desk with my name on it. It contained keys to two rooms. I told the only employee I could find (a casually dressed man who said he was security) and explained I had only reserved one room. I never entered the second room. The next morning the lady at the desk claimed I should have raised the issue the previous night despite the fact that no one was on duty when I arrived. The Inn is lovely but I was robbed by staff.
