Armelle was very hospitable and accessible, helping us to navigate check in at 2 a.m and leaving 5 metro cards for us, so that all we had to do was replinish them to use. Checkin tip: push the left iron door to the complex inwards to enter. It is very heavy, so it's not clear if you are doing it correctly until you give it a good go. Works perfectly fine though. The apartment is in the18th Arrondissement which is not always revered as the nicest place. However, we felt safe, using the Chateau Rouge metro station each morning and evening. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. And the apartment complex itself felt very secure with 2 external locked entrances (street into foyer into complex). We were there for the weekend, and the streets accumulated litter due to the ethnic market below, but was promptly being cleaned Monday morning as we were leaving. There was a decent amount of urban noise from dark until about 11:00 pm nightly. However the location and access to the Sacre Couer was unparallelled, less than 3 blocks away. Plus a view of it out the kitchen window! The beds and amenities were accurate to the description, though it wasn't abundantly clear the primary bed is a sofabed which definitely made things cozy. The internet was not unlimited; we went over the prepaid amount and would have used less had we known. However Armelle remedied that when we informed her. All in all this is a value proposition if you are comfortable with the location.
