Loved the house, but the cleaning wasnt up to VRBO standards. Air doesnt work on 3rd floor, outside door knobs are rusted. Overall we adjusted after having to be relocated for our stay from our original location. The staff was very nice and helpful.

There is one bedroom downstairs and that was the one TT was going to sleep and and she couldn’t even use because there were bugs crawling on the pillows and the sheets we not clean and had hair on them and the curtains has mold on them too, so she slept on the couch. Also it is a strong mildew smell in here and you can see the mold on the vents.

Great location

We loved the location of the condo and lay out of the property. The pool and beach access were great! The lay out of the condo was good and the view from the balconies was great. The kids loved the Koi and turtles in the pond. ISSUES: Downstairs Bedroom Smelled like stale cigarettes and musty and urine Upstairs pink bedroom smelled like soured clothes and body odor. Footprints in upstairs 2nd bathroom Sheets in master bedroom were stained. Comforter smelled like smoke. Icemaker was slow to make ice. Water and ice dispenses in door did not work. No hairdryer (even though listed in amenities) The floors under the couch were nasty. did not appear to have been cleaned in ages. Water damage to downstairs bathroom ceiling. No back up TP in bathrooms and only 1/2 roll to start in each bathroom. No extra blankets or comforter provided for the couch bed. (only sheets) We stay at a condo in FL each year with our family and this is the first time we've experienced this level of uncleanliness and it was disappointing since we have friends that have stayed here year after year and highly recommended it. Grace with the management company is amazing! Very helpful from booking till we got a check-in issue cleared up.

We have stayed in this particular condo twice. It’s perfect for our family. The location is great. Just a walk around the corner to the beach! The kids love the pool. Everybody loves it here.

Nice place but a little on the dirty side

We enjoyed our stay. The owners were easy to get a hold of and responded to our needs right away. When we got there the kitchen was very dirty (dirty coffee pot, counter tops still had crumbs on them, the stove had caked dirt on it, and the drain in the sink still had food droppings in it). The whole place really needed a good dusting and deep cleaning. But they sent someone over right away to get it cleaned and gave us a gift card to a local restaurant, which was very nice. It's a little dated and could use a little "face lift" as well but it worked for our group. The lady at check-in was super nice. They were very accommodating. We needed an extra car pass and they worked it out for us since we had a caravan whith us. Access to the beach was super easy and the fact they had an umbrella and beach chair we didn't have to rent was a huge bonus. All in all it was a great trip. If they make a few upgrades and get a better cleaning service, we would definitely stay here again.

Not satisfied at all!

This is the 3rd year we have rented a condo at Sugar Beach. We normally rent a different condo but it was booked. So, we went out on a limb based on the write up and went with this one. If this would have been our first we would have never gone back. The condo was not clean — mold in the showers, sand all over the floor, stove was nasty, etc. The condo desperately needs updating on the main floor. The living room furniture was not even thrift store worthy. My son was supposed to sleep on the sofa bed - it was impossible - felt worse than sleeping on the sandy floor. The kitchen is extremely outdated and has very little dishes/cookware. We normally cook at least one meal a day and the kitchen was so nasty we decided it was not possible. The patio furniture was very old and outdated as well. There is no smart TV in the condo so you get only a few channels through cable - that was a big bummer. It rained 5 of the 7 days we were there - would have been nice to have binged watched some shows or been able to watch a movie. I rarely ever comment on a review but I was very, very disappointed given the amount of money we paid for this condo.

Nice place to stay

Very nice condo, nicely decorated and comfortable. Location was great to stay close to a few sites and far enough from the bustle on the streets. The beach was nice. The amenities at the condo are nice. A shuffle board, tennis court, pool, and club house. The cleaning of the unit could be improved. Maybe leave a working steam mop for the floors to keep down the necessary effort after most guests depart. Put a little vinegar and baking soda in the shower doors after every guest leaves to reduce the mildew build up. Please adding $10 tea kettle for a quick boil. Thank you for sharing your holiday home.

Weekend Getaway

Overall I give this place a 3. There were a few things I did not like. Ants were crawling in the living room. One bedrooms pillow case was dirty with hair left on it. Also, there was no extra toilet paper or extra trash bags given that we were a party of 8. However, I did enjoy the location. We were located about 16 minutes from Pier Park and 4 minutes away from Ripley's and WonderWorks.

The interior was ok, the photos on the website reflect a fresher look.

We had a difficult time stabilizing the air conditioner. Cool temp downstairs and hot and stuffy upstairs. We had to go and purchase a fan for one of the bedrooms! Also there were not enough towels and wash cloths for the master bath, we purchased towels to use for the week! The tennis courts were closed off by mid week!! Could not enjoy playing tennis, as my family plays quite regularly! We did like the ease of the check in!
