The room was peaceful and inviting. Wood beams, high ceilings and a comfortable bed. I saw a few monarchs from my balcony and had a partial ocean view that felt very private. Well worth the price.

Everything was fine. I would say it would be nice if a bit more was included in the breakfast and if the heater was more up to date but other than that for the price, I would say it was decent and would recommend for anyone else to stay if they are looking on the cheaper side of lodging in Monterey.

Very welcoming staff. The room was nice and the view from the balcony was beautiful, we could see the ocean! Bed was firm (not a complaint, just a noticing for people that like or do not like it). We would come back!

Property was nice, interior of room kind of shappy~ No parking in lot, had to park on street, which was not a big deal. Overall we would stay there again, the price was good & we love the area, like your in the forest & walking distance to the ocean

Room could use updating. Mattress is very old and in need of replacement, VERY uncomfortable. Staff are very nice. Continental breakfast comes in a box, that consists of a plain croissant, stale pastry, single Babybell cheese, not the continental breakfast we were expecting, or comparable to other hotel offering a continental breakfast.
