Location: About a 14-minute walk from Namba Station. Pro tip: if you use Google Maps, it routes you through paths with elevators instead of stairs — so you won’t have to drag your luggage up and down train station steps (a small win after a long flight). The hotel is conveniently located in Namba. It’s within walking distance to the famous Glico Running Man Sign, a Don Quijote Dotonbori branch a few blocks away, and several well-known ramen spots nearby. The Room: Pretty standard Japanese hotel size — compact but efficient. I was assigned a room without a street view, which made it quieter but nothing scenic. It’s simple, clean, and functional. The only slightly tricky part was figuring out the light and AC controls since everything was in Japanese — but thank goodness for the iPhone camera translate feature. Problem solved in minutes. Service & Amenities: The staff speaks decent English and were helpful during my stay. Breakfast buffet is your typical business hotel spread — solid, but after Day 3, I definitely felt the repetition. Overall: It’s not luxurious, but it does exactly what it’s meant to do. Clean room, good location, reasonable price. For a base in Namba, it gets the job done.

Great location! Free breakfast is actually not bad. Only had it once during my 3 day stay, but it helps to start your day. Room is small, which is normal for Japanese hotels. Beds are hard and stiff, so if it’s a dealbreaker for you, I recommend looking somewhere else. Lobby is always busy, as they bring tourists from China everyday by bus

This review has bias since we were feeling ill while staying here. Check in was done on a machine, staff helped and explained hotel policies. Hotel room was a smoking room, no other smoking facility on the premises. Room smelled so horrible of smoke. The bed was so stiff and uncomfortable. The room was very noisy with sounds heard from the street as well as the hallway. Hotel does not provide free water bottles, only a water jug in the lobby that you are unable to fill water bottles with. AC/Heat unit was confusing to use and not effective. Hotel staff only partially helped with luggage forwarding services. Would not stay at this franchise again.
