This is a luxury stay in a nice neighborhood. Although it’s not in the center of the most popular spots, it’s nice to get away and be more local. Our favorite bar and restaurant in our two week Japan trip were a result of staying at Merbabu. Some of the functions of the lighting and tub were difficult because the instructions were not clear, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We're a party of 3 and had 2 double sized beds, plus space for our luggages. The room also has a washing machine which is convenient. Location is quiet, around 5mins walk from a metro station.

The hotel was nice and had a good location. I loved that there was a washing machine. It would have been nice if there were dishes or pots/pans to actually use the provided stove and microwave. Also, the light sensors were really annoying because of how sensitive they were. Just turning in your bed would cause the lights to turn on. Otherwise, the room was comfortable.

Very clean, and check in was very easy. The room is very high tech, which is cool, but better instructions on how to use the washing machine and the bathtub would have been helpful. Also, the motion light in the hallway is pretty obnoxious at night for the others that are sleeping.
