We usually stay at Marriott cypress but was last minute trip. Westgate seemed similar, but…. Pros: good location, staff friendly Cons : we were in building 60. It is the furthest from the lobby , the property is huge and after a long day at parks you don’t want to walk. Shuttles were iffy and you have to call and wait Shuttle drivers don’t speak even when you greet them or ask a question. This happened twice. Odd. 2) pools : the adult pool by our building was not as easy to walk to as the map showed. Many routes were blocked off. My two teenage girls felt unsafe there as it was deserted and not as well lit. We did finally find a pool that wasn’t overrun by kids but had to drive our car to it. 3) our room had issues. The sofa bed was awful. I asked for new mattress. They left it propped up on tv. So I did it myself. The room was outdated ! Linoleum floors, old leather furniture, a stove that looked like it came out of someone camp, no trash cans , no oven mitts ( made some out of towels ) ac malfunctioned, sheets damp. Washer dryer combo didn’t work well. 4) lack of food after 8/9 Forget about in room delivery. Deli out of meat No pizza guy even though it’s listed on brochure with extension. 5) safety: no parking after you get out of parks. Have to go to garage on other side. Get a shuttle back to room. Watched 4 cops corner a guy on property. Didn’t look like a tourist to me. 6) NOISY ! The walls are so thin. Expect to be woken up several times a night. Never again ….

I love the entire experience! This was my husband and I's first time staying at a resort and this was our first anniversary celebrating our marriage so Not only was it a two and one the room was incredibly beautiful it was comfortable The View was nice it was quiet peaceful a lot of entertainment we got to do a lot of activities the staff was beyond amazing especially the young kid I believe his name is Tremaine but I don't know you get to connect with the staff they're easy to find a free spirited they care and what's a better place to go they had a lot of activities we got to play many golf we went swimming they do have a water park they also hosted a Saint Patty's party which was pretty awesome I would recommend this to all family and friends everything is convenient the food is a little pricey so honestly we did doordash a lot but other than that I'd say 10 Stars play
