This was the Absolute worst VRBO booking that I have ever encountered!!! I have booked through VRBO for years and never had a problem of this magnitude. The property is Beautiful on pictures and the house is very nice but it was not clean!! We had problems from the very start1. The owner wasn’t very responsive/timely in the app. We did not receive check in and arrival info until the day before, when the info in the listing states that you will receive arrival info a couple days before your trip. My family was getting upset with me thinking that we had been scammed.2. The smoke alarm went off every single night that we were there. It alarmed in the wee hours of the morning when everyone was asleep. This was very annoying being awakened to a smoke alarm which sent people running through the house looking for smoke and fire. I immediately reached out to the homeowner each time because I didn’t want them saying that we were smoking in the house because it is a no smoking property. The owner responded back, “ it alarms sometimes. I will send a technician out”.3. The most disgusting and disappointing this was that on our Second night there we discovered that the twin race car beds, and 3 other bedrooms had bed linen that had urine soaked mattress covers and sheets on them. I have reached out to the homeowner and VRBO and they have not rectified this issue. There is so much more to the story that I don’t have enough room to type. Beware don’t book here!!!!
