Relax at the resort

Our stay was great way to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. The resort location was very accessible to other parks or amenities. Onsite staff were helpful and attentive when we had questions. Other residents/guests were polite and welcoming.

Great place to stay

Bahama Bay Resort is fantastic with so much to do and close to lots of places to eat, and things to do. Condo is on second floor and was very clean, kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Communication was great, had a small issue with the the toilet but called maintenance and someone was out shortly to help.

The condo was a little run down! A great location for the baseball games but the traffic is horrific! Beautiful resort!

Great stay

Lovely place very homely. A few decoration needs but in general very clean. Pool just out the back so very easy to access. 15 mins to Disney 30 mins to universal. Local restaurants 10 mins away. Support for any maintenance very swiftly undertaken. Great stay would come again for sure!

Everything was as described, had no major issues while there, Except the latch on the front door wasn't working properly at times. We had to double check to make sure it was shut. Everything else was great!

Springtime vacation

Stayed here at this condo for month of March 2022. Enjoyed the condo and the resort. Pool was great and closeby. Beautiful kitchen in condo and big refrigerator. Would have given this condo higher rating evcept for loud noise from condo on floor directly above us. They must have been doing extensive remodeling on this condo because is so noisy overhead for a week. It would have been kind of them to at least told us, and possibly apologized for all the racket. My husband brought his bike and chained it to an iron fence in front of our condo Bike was stolen only a week after his using it daily. Did not think this would happen in a gated resort. The resort was quiet with many sidewalk trails to take nature walks .Resort was maintained well and located in a nice area.

Great resort, just don't stay in this unit.

Firstly, the resort this property is located on is amazing. Very nice location, lots of pools, nice sandy beach like area, splash pad for the kids and relatively close to Disney land. Just about everything you could ask for. The unit was clean and looked like the pictures. You will need to take laundry soap, dishwasher detergent and shampoo. They will provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. If you stay more than a few days, bring some supplies. Many VRBOs I have stayed in have simple spices, and at a minimum salt and pepper. There is nothing at all like that. Now to the negatives. This place has been neglected by the owner. The fridge and stove are rusting through. Only two burners on the stove work. The frying pan handle is broken off. I could have lived with this and been fine, until the water heater broke the 2nd day in on an 8 day trip. I called the front desk but since this is a privately owned unit they couldn’t help me. Multiple calls to the owner support number got me nowhere. They never communicated with me at all. Someone came and looked at the water heater while we were out because I noticed the circuit breaker for the water heater got tape put on it saying not to turn it on. I asked for a new unit but the maintenance line said they couldn’t help me. We ended up heating water on the stove for the kids baths and washing dishes. The adults took cold showers. I’ve tried to contact the owner to talk about a discount many times but they don’t respond. I tried VRBO and they agreed it was bad but the most they can do is send an email on my behalf to the owner that was ignored like the other times I reached out the them. I’m left with no choice but to file a dispute with the credit card company. If you stay here, good luck!

Great Stay

Bahama Bay resort is just as nice as many people have said. The outdoors has beautiful scenery. There are many things do at Bahama Bay, it has a wonderful family vibe and it is a great getaway when you just want to take a break from "vacationing". The condo is located on the second floor in a quiet location. The condo has been newly renovated but for those who are meticulous be aware this does not include the standard appliances. Over all I found the condo to be very relaxing, clean and great for families. The beds where comfortable. The condo had plenty of utensils and plenty of room for dining. A couple of notes: the table top is not bolted down. Be aware that certain parts of the are off limits as you are guests of the host and not the resort but If you need help Mike and Janelle at the front desk are perfect receptionists. I found this place to be pleasant convenient and the standard in family resorts. You will enjoy your time there,

No service

Returned to condo after park trip and bedroom in condo was soaked with water, called the emergency number because it was after 6pm. Property manager said he would send someone to dry the matter eds, no one showed up, tried calling property manager back, no response, left several voice messages and no response. He finally arrived 5 hours later, said he was sorry , nothing was done. Someone finally showed up the next day and vacuumed the mattress. I know the water leak in the condo above was not anyone’s fault but I feel like we had not gotten the service we needed. Smoke alarms beeping alll the time, a burner on the stove would not work. I will be hard pressed to use this service again. Regards
