We rented the house because it had a pool and hot tub, we were told the heat was checked and working before we got there. When we arrived the pool and hot tub were 62 degrees and the heater was broken. I called the first evening and let them know, they said someone would be out but no one ever came. When I attempted to get details regarding when we could expect this to be fixed all I got repeatedly was ‘we’re waiting on the final report from our pool technician. Same answer to every question I asked via email. They refused to give any details, when will someone be out, when can expect this to be fixed, etc. Every answer was the same. Waiting on final report. They refused to answer the phone for 3 days after they found out this was an issue. They refunded the cost of the pool heat, however refusing to answer the phone and refusing to answer direct questions is beyond unprofessional. No one ever came out over our 4 night stay, no further communication was ever given. Beds were uncomfortable, house had bare minimum in supplies, cheap carpet, cheap furniture, not a good experience. VRBO tried to assist as well but Shine Villas refused to answer their calls either. Be very careful dealing with Shine Villas, collecting our money was the only thing they cared about. Once they had that they refused to do anything to assist in our stay.
