Perfection!

Over the years, we have stayed in many beach houses and this one beats them all — excellent communication with the owner, beautifully appointed and comfortable furnishings, large pool, new walkway to the beach and the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. Add to that games, books, fussball and a lower level room with lots of beach accessories to use during your stay.

The home is absolutely beautiful and the kitchen is well stocked and organized especially for the number of guests. Location is convenient for walking to the pier and coffee shop. Host was amazing to work with and answered our questions promptly. We already booked for next year! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home!

Amazing in every way

Our family has been coming to ocean isle for over 30 years. As we’ve grown it’s been difficult to find a home that can accommodate us all, while offering the amenities we value. This home truly has it all, and the owners have thought of everything to make things convenient and enjoyable. The organization, thoughtfulness in the design of the spaces, proximity to everything in town, etc.We had 5 kids ages infant-10 in our group, and adults ages 26-95! We hope to stay here year after year, and cannot say enough wonderful things about the home.

MDW 2025 Family Beach trip

This was a great house for our family of 30 for the weekend. We had all ages and everyone had a great time. The house was clean and spacious and oceanfront location was perfect! The whole family had a wonderful weekend!

Great place for a large group

This home is laid out very well to accommodate a large group with each bedroom having a bathroom. The two large living areas and porches give ample space to spread out. The icing on the cake is the view! You can enjoy sunrises and sunsets!

Love the house!

Shook-Ceren Sibling Reunion

We have 14 siblings still alive, and our reunions are generally every 3 years. For 2024 we got together at this property (20 of us--siblings and spouses) to celebrate. Very nice property--right on the ocean--very clean, very attractive, great location! The owner was very communicating before and during our week there--a big plus as you plan your week. The location of the house was prime--walkable to shops, ice cream, putt-putt, restaurants, etc. Best location we have ever had for our reunions. Beautiful house, beautiful views, beautiful sunrises! Walks on the beach were many and easy (great beach) and the private pool was a big bonus. Highly recommended for groups 12-24! Oh--big kitchen and table for 20 people all at once. Thanks Tom--you are a great host!

Best week at the beach with family!

The owner, Tom, was very responsive and helpful with any questions we encountered. The house was beautifully updated and had lots of space for everyone to hang out. We especially loved the pool!

Great family reunion location

We had 26 people under one roof for a family reunion. Family stretched from California to NY to FL and states in between this is our fifth stay at OIB and we hope to do it again in a few years back at the same location. Everyone had their own bathroom and there are two family rooms to enjoy. The owner is very responsive to all inquiries. We can’t wait to come back. It was hard to leave.

Celebration of Life

Wonderful. Everyone loved the house, the view. Perfect place for our celebration of my father who passed away in May. His favourite beach was Ocean Isle and I remember why. We had a private chef cater our dinner and the kitchen was great. Great counter space, extended dining table. Very nice and comfortable.

Friends Beach retreat

We had a wonderful time at the house. The gourmet kitchen and two separate living room spaces were perfect for our group of 19. Although there were a few maintenance issues (a toilet with a loose seat and a toilet with problems flushing), these minor issues didn't spoil our wonderful time. The owner was very good at answering my questions before our stay. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

A slice a heaven

It is such a blessing to stay in Tom's home. This is our second year and we are booked to return next year. We love the location, the home suits all of our needs and the kitchen is perfect for a large group. Tom has made and continues to improve things in this home. He asked for suggestions and really cares about his home and your vacation. Cannot wait to go back next year.

Ocean Isle August 2023

Unfortunately, someone or something had urinated in one of the upstairs bedrooms and it stunk! The upstairs carpets were filthy and stained. Two of the deck chairs were broken due to wood rot. Two children got splinters from the upper and lower decks; these should be replaced with Timbertech/Trek composites. Previous renters seemed to be quite dirty? We texted the owner, and on the second day, he had someone come and shampoo the carper with urine stink, and some of the large stains. There were several cracked glassware hidden in bac when we arrived. It is a beautiful house and great location, but seems to have taken a beating from the renters

Friends and kids getaway

This house was perfect for our friend reunion trip with six families total. Everyone had a blast from six months to six years and everywhere in between. We appreciated having the pool and also appreciated the safety measures including secure fencing, and latched gates. Enjoyed many meals I n the spacious kitchen and table. Perfect location, walked to the nearby playground! Hope to come back!

Perfect Family Vacation!

We had a fantastic vacation and this property was perfect! Plenty of room for our group. We had great fun at the pool and foosball tournaments upstairs. Also able to have separate down time when needed. The beach was gorgeous with many hours spent relaxing. The owner was communicative and thorough. Absolutely no issues at all!

Great rental
