Over all good experience

House is very spacious, we had 4 couples, 1 preteen and 2 medium size dogs and we all fit comfortably. House is maybe 15 min from bass lake and 20 min from Yosemite. The only prob was that the master bedroom seemed to not stay cool in comparison to the rest of the house. Aside from that, our stay was very enjoyable. We cooked our own food every day, the kitchen had everything we needed. There is also a BBQ grill in the back patio.

Family Nature Adventure!

This property offers a great space for a family of 5, we enjoyed deer sightings everyday! This property has great amenities, and is centrally located just miles away from shopping essentials, great food & ice cream, Bass Lake and Yosemite!

Beautiful Family Home

Our entire stay was enjoyable. The house is very spacious and clean. Communication with the host was almost immediate. Things to note: Refrigerator does keep the temperature cold. When we arrived it seemed to not be cooling, just give it time to reach the proper temperature after filling it with your groceries. The house came with plenty of towels. Beds could be more comfortable. We stayed in the master bedroom but the rest of the party complained about their bed being uncomfortable . The laundry room is spacious and the washer and dryer are pretty new. The clothes would wash and dry in a very reasonable time. They both are regular size appliances too!

Incredibly comfortable house

We had a family of 6, including 2 boys 8 and 11. They, in particular, found the house amazing! We loved its design, which gave plenty of room to everyone, the ample kitchen, and the large deck. Also, it’s in a great location and very pretty street. We had a few things that didn’t work but that was minor. Highly recommend this cozy, well furnished home.

Great stay while visiting Yosemite

We had an amazing stay while taking a family vacation to Yosemite! We had plenty of room to spread out. The house was a perfect location to go to Yosemite. We were visited by a few deer and could hear the neighbors donkey.

Lovely Place

We spent Christmas at this house. We had a great time and there was plenty of space for all 12 of us! The only items we had any complaint about was the stove. It was a little tricky and we could only get 2 pans to work on the burners. So our weekend cooking was limited. But then we found crock pots/grills that got us through. We also saw plenty of deer roaming the property in the earlt morning. Thay was neat.

I didn't want to leave!

My overall impression of my stay was great! From the moment we got there i knew it was going to be a nice stay! The house was clean, sheets and towels smelled clean. We did have a hard time with the stove, i just wish it was a gas range. There were a few dishes that we had to wash because we found old food on them. My sister mentioned that the bed up stairs next to the bathroom was squeaky every time she moved it nade noise. I stayed in the master bedroom which i enjoyed very much. Over all we would consider coming back! It was also convenient that we drove 20 minutes out to yosemite to see snow and was very lucky to get there while it was snowing. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Lasting Memories

Came here with entire family, even the dogs, with the intention of visiting Bass Lake, for relaxation, and celebrate my 60th! This property made all this happen in a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, there were plenty of modes of entertainment (i.e. pool table, T.V.s,games, etc.) that kept us entertained and the linen was well furnished. We even were blessed to see a local family of deer a few mornings. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Not as advertised!!

The host falsely advertises the following. "We have a NO CHORES Policy." All we did were chores. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, towels in the dryer, calling the host about plumbing issues and an ant and June Bug infestation and many other items. Also, a week before we were scheduled to arrive I asked the host to ensure that the BBQ was clean and there was enough propane. When we checked in the BBQ was clean but the tank on the BBQ was empty and the one next to it was 1/4 full, if that. They did bring some the next day but, again, I did not want to spend my vacation following up on things like this. It would have been OK if this was the only thing but unfortunately it wasn't and what I had hoped to be a relaxing couple of days with friends from out of town, was not!!!

Family vacation

Each year our family that includes my husband, 3 adult children and their spouses and 4 grandchildren under the age of 3 meet for family vacation. This property was perfect for us! It is roomy and comfortable. It is nicely furnished and has two living rooms where we all could relax after playing hard all day at nearby Bass Lake. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. We celebrated two birthdays while here and there were cake pans we used as well as a hand mixer. The air conditioning worked well and it was welcomed as temperatures were in the 80s and 90s.I give a two thumbs up to our host who was easily contacted. She answered quickly and was always accommodating and pleasant. The home was Amply stocked with towels which was very much appreciated. We all agree that this home was one of the best we have ever stayed and would like to return in the future.

Comfortable stay - Call it home away from home.

Excellent clean property with lot of games and pool table for the family to have a great time. Downstairs bathroom has some Electrical issue that the Electrician came to fix. Very responsive management. Will definitely stay here again

Family Time in the Mountains

This was a great property for our family’s needs. Well stocked kitchen, fun game room, and the deck was great for coffee time in the morning and evening meal. Close proximity to Bass Lake and Oakhurst made it ideal, and Vanessa was great to work with in arranging check in and check out.

Pretty Awesome!

We had an awesome time at the home. Wish we could stay longer. Two deer stay by the house under the back porch. You will scare them out and then they return later. Also, woodpeckers come in the morning, which will shock you at first before you realize they are pecking on the house and not someone breaking in! Speaking of that, the house is in a very secure neighborhood just far enough from the city center but not too far. Perfect spot IMHO. Very easy access to Yosemite. The house was great for the three nights we stayed. VERY clean and well thought out for guests. Could use a couple small updates in the bathrooms, but nothing major. Very comfortable beds and the home is updated. Stocked kitchen with everything needed and more. We travel about 60+ days per year and stay at similar type properties around the world, so we have a good feel for a well run place. This is certainly that and more. No doubt would stay again.
