When we showed up we found out that the outside of the building was being refurbished, causing lots of constant noise. In addition, we were not able to use the balcony that we paid extra for. Repeated attempts to Vacasa, the local management company, finally resulted in a resolution, even though it did not meet our satisfaction. We ended up checking out early, but were not refunded for the entirety of the nights not used. Again, after repeated attempts to get this resolved, we were credited with an additional 200, still 400 dollars short of what we should have been refunded. We never did receive an explanation as to how they calculated the refund. We travel a lot but will make sure we never rent a unit that is managed by Vacasa again.
