Hotel was short housekeepers so we never got maid service in our four night stay; they did credit our bill for half the Amenity/resort fee We expected a lot more in this older but very nice hotel Great location near shopping and the wharf Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful

The location was phenomenal with parking a huge plus. The inside was a great disappointment. Needs massive upgrades. Replace all the rugs and furniture along with the bedding. Last minute reservation so maybe we got the last sad room. Handicap shower leaked all over the floor. Outside was wonderful, missing out on a big opportunity not having a bar service out there. Staff very helpful and pleasant, this place could be a 5 star attraction with lots of modifications.

The interior of the room was fair and dated, but the bathroom was terrible. The shower would barely drain you would be standing in 4” of water when finished. The same with the sink it would fill before you could finish brushing your teeth. The toilet would constantly run and you would non stop have to jiggle the handle. Also lighting was not good.

This place is a gem in the heart of Newport. Every year, I consider staying somewhere else, but we always end up coming back here. The staff is wonderful, and the waterview rooms are unbeatable. We even extended our stay because we were having such a great time. Already looking forward to returning next year!
