Staff were very friendly and helpful, always had someone at the door and desk to help. A lot of good food options around the area and close to the French quarter, the neighborhood around the area felt safe, the streets are just a little run down but if you ignore that then great overall

Great value for the price

I love the Alder. It is spacious and mostly clean. But the area around it is a little sketchy. The water pressure could use some improvement and the bathroom could be just a little cleaner, but overall great value for the money.
