Horrible experience. Had to change rooms three times due to mold and sewer smells

The first room we were assigned was too small to accommodate three adults but they reassigned us to another room after I requested. The door had a very old lock that made entry difficult. The carpet was worn and dirty. The bath tub had a very slow drain. The room was dusty. Towels were dingy and old. Breakfast was good and staff was helpful.

Good stay at an historic hotel centrally located. Between French Quarter and Treme, walking distance to Frenchmen Street.

Very cool hotel made up of many surrounding buildings. Very unique. Room was clean and updated, just a little small (to be expected in the quarter). Continental breakfast provided.

2 blocks from Burbon St but quite and historic. IT was perfect in so many ways! EVERY SINGLE staff members we met was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfy. We had a balcony to the street. I couldn't believe it! So nice. We stayed overnight on Fat Tuesday. THEY had a few boxes of party beads and masks and such for guests to use. Some would think that after a ruff night there would be signs left over of the party. This staff had it all together. I accidentally dumped ice all over the floor at breakfast. Alene ( I so hope I got your name correct) I am so sorry! She had my mess cleaned and gone almost before the ice hit the floor. The car was parked by the hotel, across the street. CONVENANT! I can not locate my note with all the names of the staff that went above and beyond for us. It is one of the oldest buildings in the quarter. It was a privilege to stay there. It is close to everything! The managers worked with the staff, to make a superior experience . I hope this team is appreciated!

Convenient location just two streets away from Bourbon. Rooms a bit run down, smelly carpets and not very clean bathroom. The worst thing: unbelievably uncomfortable beds! The same boring breakfast selection every day.

Very cute hotel located in the French Quarter, with lots of character! But with character also come quirks! Staff was very friendly. Room was very quiet. Breakfast was fair...afternoon cookies were a delight! Housekeeping was adequate at best. That being said, the poor staff has to lug all of their supplies up and down steps and over uneven cobble stones. They have a difficult job! Our beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the fitted sheets did not fit our beds at all! However, other rooms might be more comfortable. Our room did not have a coffee maker or microwave, which would have been nice. Also, the towels were sometimes stained, which was not nice! I wish I could rate the hotel higher, but cute, convenient and full of character doesn't make up for cleanliness and comfort.

I stayed for a long weekend in November. The location is great in regards to navigating the French Quarter on foot.

The bathroom door was falling off the hinges, The paint on the ceiling was peeling. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. When told about this at the front desk, they appeared to be aware of these concerns but didn't even apologize. I could not recommend this hotel and even cancelled our last day there.

Hotel is located 2 blocks off Bourbon Street. Modest accommodations, but so convenient. staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice but I prefer more comfort, better and well maintened facilities

There were stains on the bedding and the bed was a little to hard

Great location on the edge of the French Quarter. Easy to walk anywhere in the Quarter from here but a bit away from crazy crowds. Staff was friendly and free breakfast while very basic and not overwhelmingly great was helpful time save in the morning.

Selected hotel on-line and was very pleased. Checkin and helpfulness of the manager were superior. I have already recommended this hotel to friends. While the rooms are small, they have fitting decor, are quiet, and charming, and the neighborhood lent authenticity to my stay in the French Quarter.

Pros: excellent, friendly staff; lovely room; good location; nice breakfast; *milk & cookies at 3pm! Cons: some noisy guests; security needs to be improved

Firstly, wasn't aware of the steep parking fees until we got to the check-in counter. $30/day! The front desk staff didn't acknowledge us until I spoke to her first. In addition to pretending we didn't walk in the door, she had the audacity to be musty. She made eye contact and assured the couple BEHIND us but was very short with me and my guest. The bathroom in out room was missing a door knob and there weren't any shades for the door windows to block out the morning sun. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was lacking the "buffet" part. Overall....3 stars at the max and I feel like that's extremely generous.

Hotel is located just a couple blocks off the beaten track and very quaint. The room was nice, roomy and quiet.

I wanted to love this quiant hotel in the French Quarter, but the potential charm was covered up by the lack of cleaning by hotel staff & plumbing issues. The lobby area was exceptionally taken care of and had an upscale feel to it, but unfortunately, that did not carry over to the room. I'm not particularly hard on hotels that miss a few things while cleaning the room. But, I do expect a certain level of cleanliness. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was that the carpet was stained in many spots and in general, filthy. Also, the entire inside of the tub had a dirt ring around it. It hadn't been cleaned in a very, very long time. I took a shower instead. Half way through my shower, I noticed that the drain was not clearing and I'm standing in ankle deep of water. After my shower, I called the front desk and maintenance was sent up immediately. He pulled a clump of hair from the drain and said it was fixed. It was not! The next day a plumber shows up and has to work on the drain. So, I had to take a shower in another room. After my shower, I overheard the housekeeper complaining how she just cleaned that room and I had no business using that shower. Also, the toilet ran constantly. I informed the hotel, but nothing was done about it. And, there was an inch thick of dust on the ceiling fan blades. The potential is there, but someone needs to put some TLC into the rooms. Such a huge miss for what could be a darling hotel.

We stayed at the hotel st Pierre for only a night. The hotel was nasty. It looked like the sheets had never been changed. The room smelled like mold. There was a pool in the mild of the hotel where everyone walked so you could slip and fall. Parking was outrageous $42.50 per night. You would at least expect free parking.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was nice and convenient. Cookies were great!! The only problem we had was out of the 4 days, the 1st room we had was to noisey, so the staff was nice enough to let us change rooms. The rooms were (ok) clean, not bad, could use some carpet vacuuming in the corners. The beds were comfy. The hotel is kind of a neat old place with lots of ambience and character with all the separate quarters.
