Wonderful holiday visit

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend with two families; children ranged from 10-14 in age. Communication with the host was great and they were kind and understanding when we arrived late due to traffic. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed many amenities about the house, as well as the surrounding area. The kitchen was small, which made Thanksgiving dinner a little tough - but we expected this and came prepared for it. In spite of it being small, it it well-stocked with the things we needed. One of the highlights of the house is that it has three bathrooms - including two bathtubs/showers. With eight people in our group, this made sharing one house much easier! If we are back in the area, we would stay in this home again.

1週間滞在しました。　 貸別荘では駐車場から別荘まで階段がある時が多かったですが、今回は玄関前に車が停めることができて便利でした。 幹線道路からは遠いのでとても静かに過ごせました。

不便も贅沢？

直前に暖房器具の故障との連絡あり。薪ストーブを使ってくれとのこと。雰囲気はいいです、が頻繁に薪を追加しないとすぐ寒くなるし、雨風すごい中を夜間何度も薪を取りに行くのも大変。Bed roomまでは暖まらない。やはり普通の暖房があったうえでのぜいたく品なのだと感じます。 那須の貸別荘の中では室内の虫も少ないほうだと思います。3泊でカメムシ3匹、カマドウマ3匹、ヤスデ2匹、あとは大型のアリが3匹。全然少ないです。 目の前は林と牧草地しか見えずとても開放感あるのですが、近所の方なのか時々前を通る人がいてびっくりします。窓にカーテンが欲しいですね。 TＶは小さいし映りも悪いですが、まそれは大したことではないかと。 1年ぶりにまとまった休みが取れたのでのんびりできました。
