The rooms are tight & the bathroom design and doors were horribly designed leaving very little privacy. Exercise classes were canceled last minute as well as boat excursions. Wifi is not secure, we experienced bank fraud on one of our accounts. Wouldnt have thought this type of named brand corporate hotel would have such weak security. They also add on service fees for each day besides resort fees without your knowledge. Shame on them pay your staff better than pass it on to your guests. We had much better stays elsewhere. Would not return.

Great water park included, beautiful jazz club, newly renovated room in the west tower, great maid service for our room, nice beaches and vibe. But overall service at the resort is perfunctory at best and in no way indicative of the five star room rates, but I think that’s also just a Bahamas thing. On site restaurants are hard to book, so plan ahead. Food was hit or miss. Leola and Marcus were great. Sugar Factory and Regatta Buffett were very mediocre but just as expensive.

My stay at Baha Mar was overall wonderful. The property itself is absolutely beautiful — very clean, modern, and visually stunning. Our ocean-view room was spectacular and one of the highlights of our trip. The pools, beach, and overall atmosphere all felt high-end and relaxing. The only downside was the inconsistency in staff knowledge. Several times we asked for directions around the resort and many employees didn’t seem familiar with where things were located, which was surprising for a property of this size and caliber. Another issue happened at The Swimming Pig. The bill already included a gratuity (which is fine), but our server told us the gratuity “goes to Baha Mar, not to the staff” in an attempt to get us to tip again. We later confirmed this wasn’t true, so that part felt misleading. Overall, we still had a great experience and would return, but I hope management addresses staff training and transparency with tipping going forward — it would make an already beautiful resort even better.

Great stay, a lot to do, very friendly staff and great food! The ONLY poor experience I went through was prior to getting to the hotel (2 weeks prior) I called to verify if I needed to pay anything else except the resort fee of $307. They told me no only to find out that they charge a $200 a day fee. That took all my extra spending and then when I spoke to someone the day before check out they told me I owed $1800. Come to find out I only had a balance of $137.

Overall an amazing - if much more expensive than anticipated — experience! Rooms were exceptionally clean / bummer that we got assigned a junior balcony instead of a full one. But with so much space “on campus” - no need to be in the room other than to shower, change and sleep. All the staff were so kind and friendly. One note of caution - do not go to Carna Steakhouse. Made that mistake first night. Great service but subpar steak (I am used to NY steakhouses) and absolute thievery on their prices. It will take you a while to find but there is ONE red wine under $200 for the bottle which is passable to eat with your steak (ours was a “porterhouse” with an full inch plus of fat down one side - rest wasn’t that great either)?very, very disappointed. We LOVED Marcus Fish and Chophouse. It’s down by the beach - we were so excited to leave the casino building complex for dinner- make sure you sit up on second floor which is covered roof but open air sides to the water. Just stunning ! And you can go there for just drinks at their spacious bar (and pro tip- they serve their dinner menu at the bar so if you can’t get reservations). Beach, casino, the jazz club, too many pools to count. And the water park slides! Oh my gosh …. So fun. An amazing time. This place is big enough to not be on a loop. You can do something different every day. Took a roadtrip downtown Nassau for some local culture and that was fun to! Would love to come back again and hope to do so.

We are so incredibly happy with our stay at the Baha Mar! The hotel and property itself are absolutely beautiful. So many things to do all within a walkable distance! All the staff we interacted with were nothing short of helpful and friendly! We highly recommend the Baha Mar for anyone looking for the ultimate Bahamas experience, I truly feel we picked the best of the best! We look forward to visiting again someday!
